Another thing: I absolutely ******* despise magic as technology. The materialist maggots who wrote this game have reduced everything to some kind of science yet unknown, replete with mechanization, computation and industry, where magical energy is basically just ******* electricity. You spend half the game picking up "power crystals" to place in receptacles so you can lower the ******* forcefield that's keeping you from advancing down the next leg of the corridor.

It's like they're adverse to anything being genuinely cool, mystical or mysterious. No, it all has to be something the autistic ***** elf can "fix" or engineer somehow.

Personally, I don't think that the concept of combining magic and science in a fantasy setting - somethin that is called "Aetherpunk" I think - is inherently bad, is just hasn't really been done properly yet by anyone who genuinely likes the concept and wants to put actual effort into it.

By the way you describe things, this game simply uses magi-tech as a skinsuit for "fantasy scifi" which I agree that sounds incredibly dumb and uninspired.

Glad the tag "LGBT" is still there in the game description.

Of course the tag is still there, EA/Bioware would rather have a gigaflop in their hands than lose their "ally status". lol

Did a quest for the cripple mage. The baddies at the end of the quest were a blond blue-eyed mage and his rich dad. Oh, and a high ranking Templar. While the cripple mage and her sheboon friend were correct from the get go.
The ***** elf makes me want to kill myself. It's like somebody took every single quirky nerdy stereotype and mashed it into a shovel-faced knife-ear.
Tried out every class. Surprisingly, the warrior is the least **** out of the three. The rogue has to be in melee constantly which, considering how awful the melee combat feedback is, sucks ****. The warrior can just throw his shield around a la Captain America. So, I am playing a blond blue eyed no-nonsense Grey Warden to counterbalance all the ******** faggy ********* everywhere.

How is the Rook voice actor? Varric and Solas seem to have good voice acting seeing as they seem to be professionals and not some weird people.

I'm playing with a Bri'ish male VA. He's alright. Sounds like a drooling ****** at times, but that just might be the writing.

Well, you know what they say about evil, right? It's like a dog trying to play the piano - it just doesn't work.

Nah, there were plenty of bugs in there. I played it on release and it was everything from crashes, to audio issues, to graphics bugging out, to AI ******** itself. No idea if it even fixed by now.

There's no such thing as 'marginalizing'. You're marginalized for a reason: either your beliefs/actions repulse the majority, or the majority just don't share them. I agree. I love this setting/lore; I've played DA:O/DA:A since 2009, and had hoped for a more dignified end to this than NonbinaryGuard has turned out to be.
Well, Origins is still more than playable.

I've never wanted a game to fail so bad so Bioware will finally go. I just want games to be good again and stop worrying upsetting little snowflakes that are offended by everything. Some of the best moments in games have been those that upset you. Creating complelling stories need drama. I have several friends that are hot and that's just how they were born but they are the bad girls now. The hypocrisy by moronic woke and DEI idiots is disgusting.
