Could this work for OIO - Overexplained Interaction Options as well?:

no it only works for the mod i made, because the approval rating is added with the in-game text, unlike skill checks.

TLDR: you have to change every line one by one

Can we not just allow NoAlphabets to overwrite the changes made by OIO and get the benefits of both with some losses on the OIO side?

Ok so I got to the Sir Aylin prison.

Firstly, some of the Justiciar ghosts still use "she/her"

Worst is that after I freed him and the cutscene of him flying was about to trigger, the game crashed and I could reload it from my last rest autosave. I guess Im stuck now. :(

There's no reason for it to crash. And I've played this scene before it works fine on my save. You can disable no alphabets and check. It won't break your save.

The "Listen to her" thing here refers to Shar, I would think - not Aylin?

This mod is still being worked on after Patch 7? Amazing dedication... props, seriously. P7 really threw a wrench into the proverbial works.

Ok I did disable "NoAlphabet" and it worked fine. I did reenable it after the cutscene with Aylin flying and played the story till arriving in Baldurs gate with Sir Aylin without any bugs. So the mod seems to be responsible.

Yes, because these Language files are done using a new method.

You have your base vanilla English file
No Alphabets only changes specific files now
Companion approval still changes every single line in vanilla game using an outdated method.
ideally the author of Companion approval will update his mod to change only specific lines.

Is anyone else getting this error message "missing Xaml file" whenever you launch the game or load into a save?
Full Error: Missing Xaml file No xaml file found in root nor any mod! /Core;component/Library/IUI_ActionResourceIcons_k.xaml

EDIT: Error solved, updated the mod manager and reloaded my mod load order.

I see, is it based on an older version of OIO then or does OIO still work that way too?

EDIT: From OIO's description page: "Update 16 Oct 24: The changeover to our glorious new high-tech pak future is pretty much completed. Goodbyeeee .locas! OIO Light and OIO Verbose round out the pak versions and are now meandering through the IGMM/console approval process like the others. There are some more flagname cleanups in 7.3.0, but this update isn't required, because no update is ever required anymore ever again. Whee!"

Is there any way this new version of OIO would work with No Alphabets and Even Better Romances?

Overexplained Interaction Options. It shows stats on dialogue choices before making them. Companion approval was based on OIO made to be compatible with No Alphabets and Better Romance. OIO is still updated on Nexus.

Is there a chance to maybe replace gith with like maybe just green skinned elf faces? I hear the gith story stuff is good but they look like post op michael jackson so I can only be hostile to them in every playthrough,

If you inspect him/ her it will say race= dwarf
Larian has about 40 of these mistakes. Because i used that same resource to assign their name the problem came to light

Gith aren't meant to pretty and conventionally attractive to humans. So no.

Giths are a different species. They're aliens should never had romance option with them to begin with.

For everyone's information, there's nothing wrong with No Alphabets @Unknown998 installed all his mods incorrectly. Do not drop the mods in Appdata/.../Mods folder manually then use mod manager. This will inevitably mess up your game.

The correct way is to drag and drop your mod directly into your mod manager (the user made mod, not larian's)

I guess that you could consider sex with a Gith as beastality. (they lay eggs, do they have a cloaca?)
Same would go for the Dragonborn.

I guess we could go for only same-species relationships, but half-elves break that mold.

Why would that make a difference? Just curious.

Also, is there a specific load order for use with other mods or just load last and there won't be any incompatibilities or loss of functionality of No Alphabets? Please and ty

Yeah load last. And if you want beard mod, that goes in the very bottom.

And the difference is the mod manager doesn't assign priority properly and doesn't filly delete mods in there when you do delete it from mod manager. then you have weird artifacts from old mods in there breaking everything

Yes exactly, in fact the gith companion in this game is WAY too attractive in comparison to how the gith are actually supposed to look in the setting this game is adapting. If you want a true female gith companion you should play Neverwinter Nights 2.

I'm personally against the idea of humans having kids with any race that looks way to different from us, and yes that includes dragons. Shapeshifting shouldn't mean squat.

It feels strange and somehow liberating to be able to speak our minds without being silenced for wrong-think.
The amount of poop people are willing to swallow just to get good bits is amazing. I pity Orin in a way, this whole clean-up must have led her (or him ?) to the brink of insanity.

I'm not sure if it's really Larian and not Wizards of the ***** doing this. I can't remember being swarmed by this trash ideologies in D:OS2. Hopefully they won't pussify their next game.

It's very liberating! It feels strange to be able to speak truth and not fear for one's job/life/friends/family/livlihood. Demonstrates how insane the world has grown to be. 20+ years ago, our views were seen as they ought to be: normal. Now we're villains, because a bunch of mentally ill lunatics are holding biological fact hostage. At least mods like these go some way to rectifying the problem.
If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?
