They only make good games under protest these days. Slop is their passion.

Alien Isolation 2 died for this.

I got good news for you.

Not getting my hopes up - CA had to eat a lot, a LOT, of humble pie and come crawling back to the costumers, tailed tucked between their legs, but they have learned nothing from the Warhammer 3 and HYENAS debacles, and the same people responsible for both are still in charge of the company.

Also, Alien: Isolation was a genuine project of passion spearheaded by a small collective within the company that had a genuine vision, and IIRC most of those people are not working at CA anymore.

They may, possibly, temper their faggotry, considering the current climate, but I wouldn't bet on it, the liberal is not a learning animal. Even with an existing blueprint on how to make the game, they'll still work extra hard to find ways to **** it up, because they are that stupid and incompetent.

And just like that any hope I had with the sequel evaporated.

this letter was signed by Alistair Hope, Isolation's creative director, who left CA and joined Xbox a while ago. Him being brought back indicates CA's desire to get most of the Isolation team members to work on a sequel.

Good point.

The Sequel announcement was a cynical ploy to get and easily win in tricking people to buy the next slop.
