When you change someone's quote, you've lost the argument and are admitting defeat. So, I'll leave you to your corner for the time being to ruminate on the burning desire for little boys and ******** you seem to have a bizarre fixation with projecting onto others.

I'm so pathetic that I have to attack people personally and throw a temper tantrum. I still have this burning desire for little boys and ********.
You don't say. Why don't you just sit down and let the adults talk.

Seems Derek got cursed here to die. If that's the way it's gotta be, here's a video of me outlasting and rescuing a character 29 levels higher than me:

It's cool that happened tonight of all nights. Now @rusty_shackleford nuke me from orbit. Full ip ban plz. I'm done with forums. Kill me now

I played it for about two hours before I realized I was wasting my life even more than normal. What a dumb, boring ******* game. Comes across more as an MMO. Massive click-fest against enemies that have no business congregating around city/township areas. The whole game seems gonzo when it really shouldn't be.

Sucks because the aesthetic rapes DIII, but a bunch of ******* monkeys with crayons could probably do better than Diablo III.

**** this game. **** the whole "seasons" ****. **** the online play mechanics. Everything about this is a disgrace and it's just more proof that ARPGs were a mistake.

I really like diablo iii but didn't play it until 2018 when all the fixes were already in. I think diablo 4 looks really ugly and bland. I'd take diablo 3 art style over 4 any day

I'm a *** for grimdark aesthetic (I really miss the art style/feel of the first game). I think they were trying to go back to that on this a bit, but it was still a total fuckup.

Diablo III's art reminded me too much of that odd strategy title Battle Realms. Odd-shaped characters, etc. Though in their defense, Warcraft III had that sort of oddness too.

I liked the heroic feel of Diablo 3, and also got invested in the story. I was looking forward to the 2nd expansion, as Reaper of Souls' ending implied that the player would be a villain fighting against the world or something, but then it became clear that it was cancelled.

Diablo III's art style is despised far too much. I think it's more than fitting for the type of game Diablo is, an arcade-style hack and slash with RPG elements. The horrific aesthetics only fit the first game, where there are much less enemies and the pace is a lot slower. After Diablo II it only made sense to do something a bit more cartoony, since your character can do all sorts of shounen-inspired feats. Perhaps people disliked it because there were other games that had a similar aesthetic?. I do recall there being a lot of Diablo clones around 2012, like Torchlight, that looked similar.

It just became synonymous with Blizzardslop. Ultimately I think this started with Warcraft III, and you see some of it in Starcraft II even. Weird cartoonish angles/sizes and ****. Hard to explain, but it seems to have gone on for a hot minute.

Every trailer just continues to cement the fact that this expansion is just a DEI version of Diablo 2 plot.

From what I have seen, D4 is just D3 but with a dull grey paint job and MMO stuff layered on top. If you need to stop playing and walk away from your computer to take care of something, you can't because there is no pause and a monster will kill you. You can log out, but when you log back in you will spawn in town and have to walk out and go through the whole dungeon all over again. And apparently the story was bad. The story for Diablo 3 was fine. It had good twists, good characters, good final act to it, and by Reaper of Souls I was invested. Demon Hunter was fun to play. I was really looking forward to the second expansion. From what I have heard, no one cares about D4's story.

The new Spiritborn class looks very cool, but I am not sure if that would be enough to offset the rest of the game. Hrm, might eventually get around to it, one day.

Despite the many valid complaints of D3 story at least it was actually engaging enough to make me give a **** about the characters. D4 is so ******* boring with copy paste dungeons that watching paint dry in slow motion is infinitely more entertaining

Why an awful idea turning D4 to a live service game.

Actually, I liked and still like the beginning of the game, and its dark setting in the cold.
But then the copy-paste dungeons get boring and power creep starts to build up pretty soon, and within about 4-5 hours after starting the game I find myself thinking "no, I want to play something else".
In many/most ways D3 is better, though the best remains the 1st IMO.

Why the **** does Diablo 4 not have option to see the completed side guest in your journal.

Makes looking online which sides quest you haven’t done a massive pain in the ***.

Very much an understatement. Shame to since the soundtrack is quite good and I appreciate the side content being decent at times ,well the multi part quest chains that is.

VA also seen significant improvement from it predecessors although the main character VA is bland and monotone which hurts certain scenes since it lacks emotional impact the game tries to convey.

Hopefully he got the base which is still pretty expensive being a $50 expansion.

Not sure tbh, but he enjoys the game for whatever reason even though he is VERY picky when it comes to games.

Same way honestly. I’m a sucker for atmospheric design, great soundtrack and dark gothic architecture/stories.

Very concerning about the Diablo reviews from Diablo content creators in regards to the story.

It’s starting to confirm my worst fears about Diablo 4 being a live service game actively hampers the story.
