Was this sarcasm too?
Yes, it was. It is called "pulling one's leg" amongst other things.

One can go troll-fishing and be sure that some of you not only take the bait, but the line and the fishing rod as well.

Still finding my feet with Deus Ex. Only had time today to do the training mission and I properly **** the bed with the stealth section.

Messed about on the last bit and let the mech shoot me to bits expecting to die. Turns out it can only take out your legs but can't actually kill you so I had to crawl around on the floor for the rest of the mission.

"Self-awareness is a virtue."
Of course, being utterly devoid of virtues, you wouldn't know what that means.

When your wife has her weekly mental break because she's a fat old childless slut who will die (early because not even her own body loves her) having never been a mother does buying a new "fur baby" pacify her or do you just sit on your hands and wait for it to be over?

I forgot how tedious of a ******* grind this game was.
They made a mistake in implementing party based combat and adjusting the enemy count accordingly. I quite enjoyed the opening areas before you're sent to deal with the Cappadocians.
It's too difficult to micro the party - you need to detach them from the group to control their positioning, or have them in defensive mode so that they dont chase retreating enemies and aggro everyone in the dungeon.
I suspect collision detection is factored in, so killing those that flee is a chore - they're out of range once you wind up the attack. There's no way to queue commands. If you're in the defensive stance you have no guarantees whom the AI will attack when surrounded. There's lots of things screaming out for an overhaul.

I will continue to level up Feed and dex and see if it becomes any easier to take enemies out of the fight. When it works, it's the most OP discipline in the early game. Emphasis on 'when'. The setting is quite good though. It's a better introduction to WoD than Bloodlines.
