Bloodborne was pretty good.Fedora Master wrote: β July 26th, 2023, 12:30"Dark Souls with Guns" was a stupid idea to begin with
I've had the first one on my list of games to try for a long time. That it got a sequel is probably a good sign. Did anyone play the first one?
I'll get the 5 finger discount on it at some point after they fix the performance/optimization issues.

Boring, I guess it's a game designed for co-op play that has singleplayer to bolster sales. Enemies are very spongy, kept running out of ammo and I was fighting enemies that were almost exclusively flying so there wasn't **** I could do.
also, the TTN is 0.

The first map I got was the empty desert looking area, I don't know if it's random. I gave up before completing it.
also, yeah, most traits are dogshit "durr +3% damage" per rank MMO-tier ********
his complaint about equipment is ******* ******** though
"boo-hoo the game doesn't just shower me with loot pinatas, I have to explore and solve secrets to find loot"
yeah, that's a good thing.

This:
I haven't played this or the previous one. Watching the video tho, he complains about the conditions you must fulfill to unlock those, not the secret per-se. He even briefly touches on similar itemization on the prev title and how it was linked to conventional exploration. Apparently, in this one, what you have to do is follow completely unintuitive instructions, like killing an enemy a certain way, waiting for weather condition, hidden timers... This is gay ****. This is **** designed around the idea that the player will keep a dozen wiki tabs opened in the background anyway.rusty_shackleford wrote: β July 28th, 2023, 02:00his complaint about equipment is ******* ******** though

Even ER, a game you know I like but that failed itemization utterly, just demands you being thorough with its locations, rly. Especially after the QoL update tracking NPCs position for you it's hard to miss stuff. A few good items, important for some builds are easier to miss (Millicent's Prosthesis coms to mind) but they are cherries on top and, in your average playthrough, even the most boneheaded of turboidiots would be able to find some kewl toys to play with.
I took a look at the Wiki to find some of those ridiculous secret weapons but honestly, most of them seem to be craftable.
Still don't care too much about the game, it's obviously aping Dark Souls way too much in the way it presents its world and lore.

I frankly do not care much about this, backlog is already too long as it is and as I said I have zero experience. Could be that he's simply a ****** but he definitely laments conditions, not secret.

Tell the *****, it is worth it. It's basically the first game but better. Only thing that sucks is the obviously DEI token negress in the beginning but after that she is basically irrelevant.

I enjoyed Remnant 2 other than the negress chirping at you at the start. It's not an amazing game, but it's a good 7.5/10 time killer if you like this sort of thing.

I heard that the game is dark souls but with guns. Is that true?
It has some similarities to Dark Souls but is not on the same level in terms of area and boss design. And shooting plays a lot different than melee. One could call it Dark Souls with guns, but one could also call it Destiny with a dodge-roll and other souls elements.Unhelpful Contrarian wrote: β September 21st, 2024, 01:21DDC wrote: β September 20th, 2024, 23:37I enjoyed Remnant 2 other than the negress chirping at you at the start. It's free on PC gamepass which is how I played it, but I liked it enough that I would have bought it.

Good to know. Got the complete edition on PS5 on sale.
It's boring **** with mystery meat starting characters. Hard pass.
The first is my favourite game. The second one isn't too bad itself. Very much worth playing!WhiteShark wrote: β July 26th, 2023, 20:52I've had the first one on my list of games to try for a long time. That it got a sequel is probably a good sign. Did anyone play the first one?
