The trust in game company is low, and the stocks are lower. You can quote me on that: in less than 5 months the game will be in permanent sale, in 1 year the game will be less than half of the original price if even that. Maybe EA even gives the game for free at some point, and yet it will still be too expensive for the "quality" of the game.

Edit: for some reason I wrote Ubisoft.

Hair physics, tattoos, pronouns. I keep forgetting this is what people care about in RPGs now.

Why is the character so ugly by default? They made unmodded Skyrim characters look like top models in comparison.
I hate the body type/face type triangle; I'm never happy with it. I will still pirate it, test it, and then delete it after 1 hour.

That's because ****** never actually want to pass.

Also, I was right, BioWare out-woked everyone else in the industry. The king is back, baby.

The headshape morphing slider is actually good, that's the only positive thing I can say about it.

What's with the neck? Reminds me of this guy:

Skill issue. It's better to have that customisation than a bunch of ugly head presets (that you have to mod out).

At what point do we need to mod out so much from a game that it can no longer be considered the same game?

Not sure, but I know that they are pushing this crap so far that it isn't even worth it to try.

BG3 has merit because even though it is filled to the brim with the garbage, its core engine still is pretty good all things considered. So it is worth the long road to salvage it.

This game though? After you wade all through the garbage, you still have a **** console action game at the core. This game isn't even worth the time to take it out of its package to burn it.

I wouldn't bother in this case, but I'm just saying that this

is worse.
And think of all the time that went into creating options that will never be used.

Ah, I see your point now; fair. even true.

But I still don't like triangle-based character editors. I prefer more advanced sliders or even numerical values to edit . like in Elden Bing.

How is that not even worse for what you said was the issue with the triangle UI?

Supposedly the character creator is based on The Sims and yet they don't let you mold the characters like you can in The Sims 4. You still need to use a boatload of sliders to customize the body and face.
Also, that guy looks like that Firbolg race from D&D, you know, like the ruined version of the race invented by Critical Role and not any of the good versions of the race from even from fifth edition. If he was blue and his nose red you might confuse him as such.

Wha exactly is the mental pathology that causes a person to see characters like that and find them appealing? This is beyond coomerism or mere style: It feels as if the characters are designed to be ugly, unappealing, uncomfortable to look at or plainly unheroic. There's something wrong with it.
