halsin was added as a companion because a loud minority of fujoshi demanded it, it's no surprise that 90% of his dialogue ended up being about sex — gay sex especially.

@orinEsque Thanks for your response over the Halsin problem. I'm not sure what the best way to deal with it would be. Maybe just stop the dialogue option that triggers those lines from appearing?

There's also a dwarf in the kitchens of the brothel in the city who mentions a 'husband' (pretty sure it was the brothel, definitely Wrym's Crossing either way). That's another one that needs dealing with if it hasn't already been caught.

again, an insane amount of time, money, and effort went into the gay/male relationships for a tiny, tiny minority of the audience.

About 15% of the RPG playerbase is female + gay men, that's about right. As they excluded Gale numbers, I have a feeling it was quite low.

The actually interesting data point is that women didn't get to act 3, but men did. The data given for the act 3 is already nearly 80% combined for romanced females. If we include no-romance, that dropoff is incredibly high.
Women just play these games for the relationship simulator aspect.

Halsin is a good guy aside from the whole trying repeatedly to rape me thing. If he didn't have any sexual dialogue I'd like him. Except he's a druid which is the most boring class in every game. **** druids, they are not welcome in my main party.

I could ignore the sex pest thing if they hadn't made Shadowheart mention wanting to sleep with him (not a SH stan but I'd be ****** if I was). Why would I waste time romancing a character only for them to tell me they want to cheat on me with...that thing?

Don’t check steam community comments. One example is a sizeable amount of people are upset because companion characters have sexual preferences which is deeply concerning how often this gets brought up in social media sites.

That is why they did the manipulated result display. They used percent for kisses and basic encounters, then... switched to a number, and then percentage of that number.

Typical of this crowd, but I guess the people who can't do math will be "amazed".
