You have a problem with the vulpera, a fox like race, yet no problem with the negress with blue dreadlocks?
Is the troll ok though

Similar to how he teed up the cinematic at BlizzCon, Metzen apologizes in this promo interview that what people are about to play was 10 months deep in development before he had a chance to reassert control. He didn't have to do that, and part of the reason I am willing to give the franchise another chance is that honesty.

Also appears to be taking no chances and is already planning 6 expansions ahead so they don't fall back into story by committee.

Blizzard's marketing lied about when Earthen would be available. It's not possible to unlock them in the game right now. If you have all of the requirements complete there's a time-gated step that remains.

I submitted a refund request for the early access cost since the marketing was very explicit. Their support is so slow that early access will be over by the time the AI chatbot responds to say no.

That furry on the left..

I do indeed hate them all. However I (unfortunately) remember ******* in my warcraft. I do not remember literal furries.
You can call it what you want, but that is an objective furry. People will have those masks with the nightmarish grin and eyes, looking just like that.

(Bear in mind I stopped playing just as Cata came out).

I may have lost interest in this before the Earthen even unlocked.

I can't see myself memorizing M+ routes and friend group doesn't play anymore so it's not even a social activity. The Delves are cool, I guess, but I'm having a hard time imagining how these are going to scale up to a challenge that is repeatably enjoyable.

By the way, flying around the zones is a pretty viable way to level up an earthen character (racial XP boost to exploration). Especially with dragonriding and the older zones where things were closer together. Went from 51 to 62 flying around Northrend.

Two discovered points of interest/lakes/towns are worth the same XP as completing a quest. In my limited testing it wasn't viable to discover many of these via using the flight paths. Too bad, that would have been a funny way to do it.

Conclusion: Final Fantasy XI provided a more compelling MMO experience circa 2024 than WoW.

Maybe because you have to team up to accomplish things there and the world is a dangerous place.

Start writing that private server code and we can play together next year. The setting is cool, even though the character building was uninspired.

Ok I still have my old Secret world account and luckily funcom hasn’t closed the original game servers.

I do know that character building for the gameplay was on the weaker side but the lore , story and characters are top teir writing.

Strangely enough the Ragnar Tørnquist was Director the same person who made Dustborn LOL.
