Go to twitch website (or not). Click on the box 'search category tags' and select 'Strategy'. You will find out that any game that doesnt require mindless screen clicking is considered a 'strategy'.

Exactly, would YOU spend $1.8 Million making some video game, or would you use that money for anything else?. Buying a new home, a new car, etc.

One big criticism I have for Prototype is that sometimes the game throws multiple tough, fast enemies at you with little means at your disposal to dispatch of them. The game just throws multiple hunters and hunter leaders at you, and you're forced to play a constant game of cat and mouse as you slowly pick them off one by one. Which is much easier said than done. It gets frustrating very quickly.

I dropped Prototype when the game made you do an escort mission or something where you had to be in a tank or defend a tank the whole time. I don't recall which as it's been forever since I played it, but I do remember being ****** that the power fantasy game about a mutant supervillain threw NPC escort missions at you.

Gameplay looks like it could be good. Story & dialogue seems iffy, but not as bad as an MMO.

Black Desert Online, which is from Pearl Abyss and looks incredibly alike this one,

The game is a mess of buttons with the UI and the graphics hurt my eyes to look at with how shiny (like this one) they can get, but it is pretty fun as a "killingspree" kind of game. This one seems to be much of the same, though, I have to say, the supernatural abilities seemed a bit out of place to me with the medieval/nordic style setting I thought it was set in at first.
- Here to show my support for normal gaming.

There are tons of fully armed and armored footsoldiers patrolling the roads 24/7, but there are bandits 30 feet away...
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

Since it's F2P, I played some of it before.
From what I can remember, the visuals & combat were great, really smooth. Uniquely satisfying character creator too. Really interesting horse-taming mechanics. Some things were quite grindy though.
MMOs, in general, struggle to keep my interest.

This popped up when I opened Steam.
Would anyone like to bet me about the appearance and politics of the makers?

Every time I see an anthropomorphic animal in a game cover, the first thing that immediate goes to my mind is "game for kids" since during my childhood stuff like Crash Bandicoot, Banjo Kazooie, Cronker's Bad Fur Day, Sonic, and the like were all the rage for kids.

As an adult, I genuinely don't understand the appeal of playing as a cutsey pet.

EDIT: Fixed my grammar.

For me it's ignited napalm, since I've come to associate anthropomorphic animals with a certain demographic.

Oh yeah, those.

That's the second or third thing that comes to my mind after seeing humanoid animals in a cover. lol

I much preferred to associate them with children's stories, fairy tales and the old disney movies.

This is noice.

An activist organization called "Take This" is begging people to donate $80,000 to them in order to stay afloat, despite just 6 months ago denouncing gamers for creating GamerGate2 and demanding the government to police everyone's online behaviors.

I also wanna say that I'm amazed at the uber terrible names that these activist companies always take for themselves. Names are supposed to be part of your identity, why do you actively look for dumb silly tags that sound as if a toddler came up with it?
