Dont know, I havnt played it yet. It would make an evil playthrough much harder if the city wasnt a hotbed of degeneracy that made Biblical Sodom look sane. I had to endure and even help all these freaks during my first playthrough and now its time for payback!

Oh trust me, Larian knew exactly what they were doing, they genuinely believe that the average player wants do degenerate **** with monstrous creatures. Why do you think they were "shocked" to find out that the vast majority of gamers picked a generic-looking White-guy to play as? lol

If I recall correctly, in their latest revel of player stats they did not show what percentage of players chose to play as a Human. They must really dislike anything that is "normal".

Its literally the worst way to manipulate me and since this tentacled monster has 1.red my chars mind and 2.Observed him over the course of the game he must know that appearing before him as a half naked squid and suggestively moving with his brain sucking maw could at best get him roasted on a spit. He would have better chance of success if he were to offer my PC the "object of his desires" like that elder brain in NWN HotU did, not much chance, but more. Were he to summon the "guardian" you created and offering you her, it would at least have some dark seductive alure.

Now that's just wrong. His beard doesn't properly match the color of his regular hair, either. Or, the lighting isn't consistent across his hair and beard so it looks like a miscolored beard.

Elves must not have beards, no exceptions. And ugly porous skin.
The first thing I noticed was elves and tieflings having ****** skincare, which is blatant nonsense. Larian be ******** on players playing "generic" humans - all while making every race except for githyanki looking generic as ****. Elves and tieflings aren't ******* humans. Elves are Feywild's creation and are suppose to be a race representing perfection, grace and otherworldly beauty (beauty, not the "in the eye of the beholder" one, have you ******* seen a beholder, Larian?), traits that are always mentioned in why humans are so keen to mass produce half-elves. Same with tieflings. If seductive and clever cambions are a product of a human and a demon (ugly Abyss monsters), why the **** tieflings (human + Nine Hells fiend) look like ******* that dumped a dollar store paint on them and said "eh, it'll do"? They even added aftershave acne for the tiefling race of all other races for unknown reasons.
Yes, I'll never stop bitching about beards, hairy bodies and aging, too. Grandpas trying to self-insert harder than a young fanfiction writer.
Edit: Changeling race on Cuckxus is an abomination and does not represent what I wrote about "otherworldly beauty", just in case. Somebody nuke the author if you can, please.

In the original story, the Dream Guardian was a representation of the Ilitihd Parasite trying to seduce you - to get you to stay down, down, down by the river in dreamland (representing your succumbing fully to the Parasite). The dreams occurred more frequently as you used your Ilitihd powers. At some point between Early Access and Release, this story was changed to the one featuring the Emperor (and the really dumb reveal that the Emperor is Balduran). I wish an interviewer would ask the writers about their original plan so someone could develop an 'Early Access Cut' that restored the old version of the Ilithid Parasite/Dream Guardian story (and remove Emperor = Balduran entirely).

Much like choosing Blue or Green at the end of Mass Effect 3, if you choose to sleep with the Emperor, you are simply roleplaying your character being completely indoctrinated, just like Duchess Stelmane was puppeted and controlled before (No, the Emperor did not have a relationship/partnership with her. This is another one of his lies. He mindraped her into a stroke/coma. This is revealed in the prequel Adventure Module released for D&D that introduced Ravengard, Stelmane, etc.).

Can confirm. EA Dream Guardian did awesome job at manipulating players into feeling guilty rejecting its gifts even when showing its outright sadistic and intimidating side, thanks to dialogue and exposition. Additionally, EA Guardian's seduction was more aggressive and much more smooth at the same time.
