Really don’t know how Larian is going to ever enforce such a TOS policy unless they’re planning to DMCA every mod site on the internet.

Most of these people only knew about the LGBT content after the release when it gain massive popularity.
Exactly so. I was surprised and somewhat irritated by the Ironhand gnomes in the Grymforge all being gay (so if the Absolutists and duergar didn't kill them, nature would), but the sheer abhorrence after freeing dame A and to be greeted with "I wanna **** my GIRLFRIEND DARLING Isobel" when returning to camp was to precise quite repulsive. Took all immersion of a medieval fantasy game away and substuted it with som modern day Chtulhu in San Fransisco-vibe I found basically good for nothing else than a facepalm. Had I known the extent of this alphabet shite beforehand, I would have pirated the game and used the mods I'm using anyway.
Also: The sheer amount of (an)alpabetism in the game is one thing, but the distastrous writing of some characters and quest lines esp. after Act 2 is simply awful. I hope to all good powers that we never again need to hear anything from the troll that Larian hired to (re)write parts of the game.

Modern writers are really lazy even making the bare minimum logical explanations on why there are contemporary value/ beliefs in a medieval fantasy setting.

BG3 was really bad at this (Pathfinder is also bad at this at times) because almost the races talk and have similar views from each other despite have differences in religion, class, geographical locations, Etc

That's the interesting part—they probably won’t enforce it. This was likely added as a "shield" against any legal issues. If someone tries to take action, they can point to this rule in the TOS and say, "We don’t endorse it, so it’s not our fault. All we can do is remove it. from our plataform we control and nothing else"

The voice in my head says Sven actually does love No Alphabets mod but doesn't say anything for obvious reasons.

Just made an account here to thank you and acknowledge your work here and on your Wylls of Toril mods. Thank you for keeping up with patch 7. As a straight woman who just wants an immersive, historically plausible setting in a fictional world, your work has completely made BG3 enjoyable. Thank you for all that you do and I can’t wait to play BG3 again! I had to revert back to Patch6 and delay a resist Durge play through but it’s totally worth it knowing you haven’t abandoned us. Forget the haters on Reddit - you’re doing righteous work.

Thank you good sir. And everyone else who donated. A portion will of course, go to Rusty for hosting this.
As promised, I will also make a donation to you shortly to thank you for all this

Hello! Im new here and i have a request if i may! I was wondering if its possible pretty please to upload a file that only alters the four npcs tagged as transgender as well as Scribe Goosequill? I generally have no problem with the rest of npcs and i would like to keep them as they are but those 5 npcs are just weirdly implemented imo

As an expert in stealing Nexus Mod resources for our own stuff, I find stripping an existing mod down a huge pain in the ***. This mod in particular would suck due to having to only override a few localization lines and keeping track of what's for which NPC. Better off just using the whole pack

Correct me if I am wrong, but the new built-in mod manager does NOT download it's mods from the Nexus.
Wouldn't it be a riot if the new mod server has no issues hosting this mod?

However, I doubt it.

NexusMods hosts mods featuring rape, sex-trafficking, slavery, furryporn, animal sex, animal rape, and turn-into-an-animal-and-rape-people mods. And they draw the line at race-changing. :smug:

Oh, and let's not forget the first mod that's uploaded to every Bethesda game: Killable Children.

Because changing the races of some of the characters is worse than gleeful child murder. :rip:

I read somewhere that modders have unlocked the complete devkit of BG3 and now have access to everything - campaign, scripts, etc. So now the game can be modded from the ground up.

With A.I. voicework, decent writing and animations, people can now mod BG3 to be the D&D game of their dreams.

The only other thing that I would ask for this to be absolutely perfect - which I know is just a dream - is that we could replace the 5e rules that the game uses for 3.5e, or perhaps raise the level cap to 20.

And I also wonder if it's possible to add new homebrewed classes as well.

The sky is the limit.

Although I surprised that larian would give full access to the mod kit.

They didn't. Some modder hacked/unlocked the devkit's full features. I am interested to see whether Larian will do something about this now, although now that it's on the internet, it is forever.

You would think larian should have known that people would comb throw each line of code to see and unlock the full capabilities of the mod kit especially when it’s very popular game.

What did they think was going to happen?

I recall there being mods that already raised the level cap and added classes, so now with the full kit maybe there can be even more done about those things. I also recall there being mods that added or modified abilities to work like they do in 3.5e (I know I downloaded something for the Paladin class), so I can't see why remaking it all can't be done besides it going to possibly take a lot of time to do so :toot:
- Here to show my support for normal gaming.

From some comments I have seen in this site, Larian had a terrible fallout with WotC. If this is true, then I doubt they would care that much about what others do with BG3 now that they printed the money from this game.

I think that third edition era prestige classes would be a nice fit for this game.

It's not just separating out the 5 NPCs. Every time I make a change I have to implement the change in multiple places and keep track of it. You have to grease my palms REALLY well for me to accept something like that. Not sure you can afford it honestly
