What does 10 years later actually entail? No power? All perishable food already gone? It sounds harder than a normal map, unless im wrong

I'm not sure about the gameplay changes, but it makes everything green and pretty

And it makes difficult (sometimes) to run away from hordes since greenery becomes really thick, trees everywhere and your character goes into the slow "push through branches" animation more often.

All the weaker zombies died off now all that's left are the super strong ones that run
