Fallout 3 ******* sucks.
For a game that started my interest in immersive sims, it did not age gracefully whatsoever.
The art-direction is about the only good thing about it, everything else - animations, gameplay, story, sidequests, SHOOTING, it all is just extremely boring.
I spent countless hours as a kid playing and replaying it, now i can barely play a hour of it without being bored to death.
There are some good bits and pieces of enjoyable stuff in it, but they are just lost in the sea of mediocrity that is this game.

Enclave is pretty fun, it reminds me a lot of Blade of Darkness, except without as many environmental interactions. The AI is really good tho.

Re playing Elden Ring, this time as a night mage. Yes, focusing a lot on night sorceries. They aren't OP but are quite cool and I like this concept. I decided to play as one after playing Daggerfall with a custom class called "Night Mage". Here is my Night Mage char in Daggerfall :

Quite powerful at night or in dungeons but weaker while exposed to sunlight. D6 hit points.

fun fact - Enclave was originally envisioned as a fantasy-themed first person shooter, basically a Quake/Heretic mashup clone.

I think people who 100% games they don't even like should have that bolt put into their head like No Country for Old Men.
this but for any game, including their favorite ones
All I need to 100% Human Revolution is find every skill book and do every ending and I just can't be ******
The game is good fun for a first playthrough, but I can't see myself ever replaying the game continuously. Your dialogue choices aren't even dynamic in the sense that they don't result in wildly different outcomes. No matter what you say or do, the game progresses as it's supposed to. The only real choice you have is at the end, with the Mass Effect 3 ending machine. I of course picked the ending where augmentations end up being banned, but none of it matters because Mankind Divided exists.

That's not all that different from Deus Ex, even down to the fact one of the few choices that do actually have consequences is whether you'll be able to rescue an important NPC or not.

Jupiter Hell, a 2d topdown roguelike with Doom aesthetic. You can tell this is made by good people who care about the project. Its simple to pick up and play, the skills are chunky and theres variety in the classes and builds. The gunplay feels refreshingly different to other roguelikes Ive played.

Finished Mega Man V for Game Boy. Not too different from IV quality-wise, though there wasn't an obnoxious part this time around which makes it slightly better.

I liked the situational perks daggerfall had. Daggerfall overall had the best character building of any TES game, if only thru limitations.

Replayed Transformers Fall of Cybertron. Decent third-person shooter. Definitely one of the best Transformers story, which isn't saying much but regardless, really enjoyed it.

Playing vanquish and it’s a decent action third person shooter.

However the audio mixing for the in game cutscenes are really bad that the music is constantly overpowering the character dialogue scenes.

Good game for sure, though I won't lie, it's a bit disappointing following God Hand. That said, I would like to see Shinji Mikami back as game director for future projects to see what he can cook up now.

Currently playing the Black Ops 6 Beta, pretty fun. Very fast paced, the guns feel good and sound good, the new omnimovement makes everything feel like you're playing a first-person max payne (I swear if they make a mode with bullet-time, i'll be playing that 24/7)

One of the first matches I played I think.

Starting new campaigns on Battle Brothers with the Oathtaker origin. I had forgotten how unforgiving the early game is, it's incredibly fun.

I really appreciate Shinji Mikami ability to make different types of games using a variety of genres for lot of his projects.

I don't remember this being a problem for me but have you tried adjusting the settings? It's all set to 10 by default.

I’m playing the PS4 version so it could be an issue of the port.

I'm seriously just kidding man.

Except about Stardew Valley. I've been playing that **** for years. Can't wait for the Haunted Choclatier to come out. I'm probably the only person on here whose *** is puckered for this. Sad!

It will be ****. There's too much hype, and Eric Barone will, unfortunately, not meet the demand. Stardew Valley was lightning in a bottle.

I think he's also said he wants to make it more gay friendly. You'll be sure to see ******** and other weirdos have similar prominence.

And the cycle continues: Someone makes a "No Alphabets mod"; he uploads it here; forum membership jumps; a thread about the mod easily surpasses 1,000+ pages; seething, internal and external, ensues.

Started playing Prototype, and so far it's a lot of fun. I usually don't bother with these superhero-themed open world games, my last one having been the disappointing Infamous 2 way back on the PS3. But unlike that game, this one is a blast to play. I can't really say if it compared favourably to the newer Spider-Mans, but your powers are badass. If you hold the sprint button you can parkour over cars and run up buildings, you can "consume" others for health and to use their body as a disguise, you can grab objects and throw them at helicopters and hijack tanks, and you can upgrade Alex (the main character) to add an arsenal of even cooler abilities. I needed the PrototypeFix mod to make it playable, but otherwise it runs smooth and I can't really complain.

The one sore spot thus far has to do with the sound mixing, and the rather average-looking visuals. The character models especially aren't all that great, and the voiced audio seems to be very quiet. I have to turn up the volume of my speakers just to hear dialogue clearly, which is something I never had to do for other games. The volume settings are at their max in-game, so it must be an issue with the game itself. I regret not playing this sooner, because it seems to be a very underrated game indeed. Will see if my initial impressions remain consistent for the rest of the game.
