Overview
Adds a playable Tabaxi race to the game.

Currently his mod is behind a paywall but in the next few months he'll be done and then release it on nexus but I thought it would be good to have it now since no one knows if it will actually release in the next months.

I bet you could get the ******** on your side by making a ****** mascot like the “Mod Goblin” who steals mods while doing the whole nasally thief bit. Maybe throw in some lecturing à la leftist meme and they’ll eat that **** up.

The good old days are gone, now it's just paygated slop for the Reddit audience

Pretty sure this new Mod Manager menu from Larian doesn't have Load Order management
Image

We should update our mods with the image preview stuff though @orinEsque
We have to set priority when packing i guess when something needs higher priority than another related mod.

Like I'll pack aylins beard to have higher priority number than no alphabets when compressing into a pak file.

Oh yes i can adjust imagine zone for stuff for no alphabets.
Is this true?
They removed Load order or don't respect it? Could they be that ********?

To recap what Larian has done:

> Break every mod through their standard update procedure
> Introduce an extremely noisey and whiny Mod Manager into their game that's ****
> Spam you with 1000's of errors / confirmations / warnings if you dare to use a mod outside their ecosystem
> Revert modding back to the stone ages by killing mod ordering for dependency management and shared library usage. Every mod must come explicitly packaged with all dependencies and **** you if there's a file conflict upstream.

All for a new Mod Tool that is a glorified XML / JSON editor with a Level editor that is read only so that they can tease you with all the functionality you'll never get.

What drugs is Swen snorting this month?

BG3 modding community was more healthy before this update. They might of just killed modding.

Sooo... really, one should just stick to patch 6 hf 9 for a while yet? I don't use the galaxy/steam thingy, so fortunately I don't have to "update" the game automatically...

I thought it was unspoken agreement that mods should never be paid for reasons that so painfully obvious that the mentally ******** could understand.

@loregamer posted a method of reverting your version of the game so you can do that on steam.

If your mod load out is good I would definitely wait.

Gotta say I’m impressed. Literally doing nothing from them would have been an improvement.

Its a ******* boolean..

They either half assed this out of laziness or because Hasbro forced them not to do it and they wanted the community to "figure out a work around".

Swen in his office when Hasbro calls him screaming that the gamers can make their own levels in BG3:

Awesome, I expected someone to mod the capabilities eventually, but certainly not THAT quick. Wouldn't be surprised if Larian did the bare minimum to gimp the tools to comply with WotC, knowing it would be an easy fix for the community.

This is the best news I could ever have gotten for this game, hope Early Access and all the "cut content" can be restored and made to replace what they did with the story and the Illithid powers. Truly hope to see some sort of "uncut version" out there in a few years or who knows how long now, and now with AI voices as well MAN this has so much potential!  Thank you for sharing such wonderful news everyone!

If this wasn't a fuckup, but a deliberate ploy to have the community have their cake and eat it, then hats off to Sven.
