Yes, people look like medieval Celts and tehre are no body types 1/2 and pronouns.
Do they also act consistently with classical documentation on Celtic culture such as Diodorus Siculus described in Bibliotheca historica?WaterMage wrote: ↑ August 13th, 2024, 18:37Yes, people look like medieval Celts and tehre are no body types 1/2 and pronouns.
IDK but I honestly loved the game. Even if not, still much better than Starfield, Failout 76/4 and Avoided.Stack of Turtles wrote: ↑ August 13th, 2024, 18:49Do they also act consistently with classical documentation on Celtic culture such as Diodorus Siculus described in Bibliotheca historica?

Is the first Frostpunk any good?
It's okay, great presentation, awesome music and a premise I genuinely love. There's nothing quite like in on the market, and I even liked the DLCs.
Problem is, the game is less city builder and more puzzle game - there's situations in the game that you will lack the proper tools to deal with unless you know from previous playthroughs they are going to happen. The devs also have the bad habit of preaching at the player and criticizing them for their decisions, instead of having a more balanced approach - you either do what they consider "moral", or the game will berate you in the epilogue.
All that being said, I'd recommend the game, especially at that price.

Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.
Core Keeper is decent. It's top down Terraria with multiplayer capability and some decent stuff.

I mentioned in another thread that I tried the Tinkerlands demo and thought it was pretty good. I see that it keeps getting compared to Core Keeper, although it still doesn't have a lot of features since it just released into Early Access a few weeks ago. Have you tried both of them? Any comparisons?

I played the first Tinkerlands demo.
It was pre-alpha so I can't legitimately critique it because the game will change quite a bit.
There was noithing wrong with it. Also nothing special about it yet.
Core Keeper's bosses are immense and pretty cool, the ones I saw in the demo of it I played in early early-access.
Core Keeper is 100% underground, whereas the Tinkerlands seems to be all surface so far.

I played the first two and liked them. Specifically remember getting drunk alone and having very fun shootouts. GUN is probably the best cowboy game though.
First game is pretty good, but has some ****** stealth segments with pass/fail parts. Gunfight is amusing, but also sucks. Quote scripture at your enemies to confuse them. It's also the only game I've played where the protagonists get pissy if you try to shoot dead bodies. Second game is probably a bit better, if more consolified, better gunfight segments. Don't bother with the third game.
Actually wait, you might not like the first game because you play as a half-breed ****** for part of it and the ending.
Odd, I never noticed any issues. Ran smooth for me, even at extremely high resolutions. I wonder what the cause was.
Only thing I remember about that game when it came out was that it had a feature if you shot an innocent, the game would call you out and exit. Stopped playing at that point. (I think this was the game).Tweed wrote: ↑ October 24th, 2024, 22:51First game is pretty good, but has some ****** stealth segments with pass/fail parts. Gunfight is amusing, but also sucks. the first one is a decent game, i liked how 'diverse' it was in terms of gameplay situations. Had all-out gunfights, stealth segments, sandboxy areas where you can just roam around at your own pace, horse-riding chases, indianajones-style adventure episodes with minecarts and aztec ruins. Even had a janky first-person platforming section.
the second game is basically just a Call of Duty clone. Has better shooting mechanics, but overall shorter and less inspired.
the third game is dogshit, i don't know what the developers were thinking when they decided to ditch the whole 19th century setting and go for a modern-day cops vs robbers action game.
CoJ Gunslinger is probably the second best in the series (and for a lot of people it's the best one), cuz it just dropped all the pretenses of being a serious story-driven game. It's a colorful, cel-shaded, comic-booky arcade shooter with a quippy protagonist. May as well call it 'Call of Juarez - Bulletstorm'.
