Hunt: Showdown - competitive first-person PvP bounty hunting game with heavy PvE elements

Post by Yankee Zulu »

Are you telling me none of you yankees play this wild west inspired shooter? You should at least try. The new engine uldate is coming in August along with a new map and a bunch of other things.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a competitive first-person PvP bounty hunting game with heavy PvE elements, from the makers of Crysis. Set in the darkest corners of the world, it packs the thrill of survival games into match-based format.

Played it in the beta, didn't like it. It's Louisiana swamp inspired, not wild west.

You know what a prime discriminant to determine sociopathy is? One's inability to understand jokes or at least participate in comedy spontaneously and being clueless about what the social temperature of a pre-existing social group is.

People can laugh at you or with you. Most of the times it's you making that specific choice.

Who said I wasnt joking?

I play this game from time to time but the insufferable bush wankers drive me nuts. This and the solo necromancer thing which is as moronic as it is annoying.

TLDR You are going to play against wankers who have been living inside that game and you are not going to lie it.

Then why are you pushing the game here? Why would we want to play it?

Then stop shilling this **** game. Why the **** did you even create this thread if you say "Yeah, if you play it, you play against people that literally became their characters so much that they can hear you before you even spawn AND you are not going to like it"

I'd play it if it was single-player Weird West STALKER. I neither have the time nor the patience for extraction shooters.

This renaming of the game could mean thhey are planning to expand it into a franchise. Could be a mobile version or a separate PVE game. Or maybe its just marketing fluff.

Unironically if as you say you 'dont have time' then extraction/session based games are the ones you should be playing because typical session can last 10-30 minutes. You can play a couple of sessions for your daily dose of videogaming.

Two major points here

- the new UI feels consolised and hard to navigate on pc
- performance apparently took a hit without any major improvements in visuals

Reviews are down to mostly positive now. Recent reviews are negative. Another example of how to **** up your own game.
