If you go back and remove a game from the timeline

No RPG elements? It probably goes here!

Dragon Age 1 or 2.. Not sure yet.

These games introduced cringe romances based around +2 -2 style relationship values where you stuff your companions with gifts and convo options to unlock game content. It also started the trend of "everyone is bisexual".

It was the beginning of the end. Can we remove David Gaider from the gaming ecosystem instead?
cringe romances began with baldur's gate 1 tbh. though there was no gay **** in the originals.
It was 2 you poser
So it is!

Dragon Age 2.
A super-cool first game which (despite its flaws) was a **** good RPG and introduced me to a world I have loved for 15 years, got a sequel that immediately had me going "wtf" with its arpg style even from the start, but it became ever worse as I played it; both story-wise and regarding the writing of companions/romances.
By DAI the dark fantasy of DAO was completely gone, and replaced by rainbows and unicorns. Especially rainbows. Diversity. Equity. Inclusion. :groan:

Minecraft and Fortnite. Never liked them, and all they've done is made the future of gaming worse since many people consider either one of them "one of the best games ever made"

I can meet you in the middle and say Minecraft post Microshill buyout.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

I thought it was a shame that no game aside from Everquest Next (RIP) has combined high fantasy RPG with players being able to build their own stuff brick by brick. Well, I guess there was Lego Universe but that game was entirely blocky.

Call of Duty. All of them. (even though I enjoyed the first couple in the series, the WWII ****). But the out of control homosexuality of the new games is shocking. Multiplayer nightmare ****. Energy drink culture. "Competitive" gaming (yes I know Starcraft and etc did this **** first, but idc).

While we're on the subject of Blizzard, ******* World of Warcraft needs to be yeeted out of the timeline ******* C&C Red Alert style.
