To be fair they definitely have not been working on it for six years. That trailer was literally just a stockholder business decision. I would be shocked if TESVI is in primary development even now.Zothique wrote: ↑ June 30th, 2024, 18:40Has it really been six ******* years since this? And for what? So Starfield could be a thing?

Obviously, through dedicated research by studying the map of Tamriel, this next installment will be in Wakanda.Zothique wrote: ↑ June 30th, 2024, 18:40Has it really been six ******* years since this? And for what? So Starfield could be a thing?
Trolls aren't gay (except Rastakhan, I'm pretty sure he was) what the **** is this?

First Zul'jin being reduced to random raid boss that you murder to appease elves
Then Vol'jin dying to a random stab wound so he can be replaced by Mary Suelvanas.
Then Wakanda Zandalari trolls.
Now some dumb gay ****.
Do yourself a favour, sistah, and stop paying attention to retail WoW.

If you triangulate from the position of Magnus, it is, without an ounce of doubt, Sumerset Isles.Greyborne wrote: ↑ June 30th, 2024, 19:09Obviously, through dedicated research by studying the map of Tamriel, this next installment will be in Wakanda.Zothique wrote: ↑ June 30th, 2024, 18:40Has it really been six ******* years since this? Hi Luke!
When your meme game of a ****** visual novel becomes more popular than the original product.
Looks like Shadows: Awakening phones home when it is launching.

If there is not an internet connection or if you firewall the game it has been reported it'll display this error message then exit:

There does seem to be a work around:

Steam version works fine without internet access. I thought it seemed strange because I never allow singleplayer games to access the internet, and I've played it.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ July 3rd, 2024, 10:18I'll see if the Steam version launches with no internet access when it's done

Can someone explain this and what it is failing to tell me to do to accomplish the desired result described?
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.
Finished Cry of Fear as standalone version on Steam and can only recommend playing it. Chose the Easy difficulty to experience the story, enemy design and use of horror elements by the Devs. It is definitely a S-Tier Survival Horror game. Better than Lost in Vivo which I mentioned weeks ago. It does have some issues and still room for improvement, but more about it in the spoilers below.
Here is the link to it:
A few other recommendations. Haven't had the opportunity to play them, so can't tell about their quality.
Afraid of Monsters, from the same developers of Cry of Fear, Team Psykskallar. They Hunger which is an even older Half-Life mod from around 1999-2001. And Paranoia.

Gamers are also tired of game developers, only difference is that we don't need them. They, however, need our wallets.
I don't understand how people can be turned off by spiders in a video game. They can't hurt you there. You either get to slay many of them or use them as cool pets.Yankee Zulu wrote: ↑ July 4th, 2024, 15:26Man I thought one couldnt get more idiotic with the woke stuff. I was wrong. WoW is gonna get a special arachnophobia mode which will replace all spiders in the game with some pink lobsters. I have no words.
GW2 was going to have a spider mount that could climb up walls, but then that got cancelled because "people have arachnophobia" and replaced by a cute bunny that leaps up cliffs. Boring.

Game is mixed/mostly negative on Steam but Scarlet Seeker said he likes it. It's on deep sale.

Nothing unusual. This is why certain modern games are so bloated. Focus on graphics, be it either with pre-rendered cutscenes or textures. Especially stupid when there is hardly any difference over 1080p/2K but they want to use 4K textures. Or even freaking 8K.KnightoftheWind wrote: ↑ July 5th, 2024, 06:26Apparently the low resolution, pre-rendered cutscenes of Metal Gear Rising take up a full 21GB. Without them, the game only takes up 3.3GB.
As comparion, going over the BG3 PAKs. The following numbers are all in GB. Textures take up 89.2. 12 for normal textures, 77.2 for Virtual textures. Models and Gustav take up 20.8 combined, but they also have elements for Visuals. So it only leaves around 33 from the total of 143. 10 being for SharedSounds, don't know if compressed or not. Leaning towards the former since there is a mod for higher audio quality. Make it 23 for all the other elements.
Kind of ridiculous since games are gameplay first and foremost. Even for story, writing takes priority. And good retro titles do not require good graphics to grip someone and have them be invested.
