Can't remember the name of a game

Post by rusty_shackleford »

I require assistance
Just suddenly thought of a game I can't remember the name to. Was sorta doosex like, took place in an apartment complex/city(?), I just remember buying stuff from a drug dealer

Was sorta futuristic but not really, near future maybe?
It was 3D, maybe a 00s game? Probably late 00s. Might have been slavjank.

What made it like Deus Ex? Did it have an inventory, movable ****, dialogue choices?

It sounds like Seven, but I know you know that game, so I'm doubting it's that.

You mean this?

It was either first person or close-view third person.

It's not The Nameless Mod, 2027, or Nihlum is it? Deus Ex had a few mods with original campaigns.

Coulda been Snowblind. It was originally supposed to be a Doosex game.

It's a longshot but E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy?
Or Advent Rising and maybe Mars: War Logs?

Nope.
I just remember being in a room talking to a gangster or drug dealer and being able to buy supplies from him.

Late 00s fits EYE or Human Revolutions, both are similar to Deus Ex (first-person, inventory, dialogue, cyberpunk setting). Maybe Invisible War?

Pathologic is 2005, and I can't really think of any other immersive sims released during the late 00s.

That could be Human Revolutions.

The first city hub, Detroit, features a drug dealer you could trade with.

EDIT:

****** recording, best I could do in such a short time. This should be the apartment you meet the drug/arms dealer, Seurat, though the game gives you the option to kill him.

It's definitely not the nu-doos ex games, it was lower budget.

The Precursors maybe, or White Gold?

Percussors was released in 2009, White Gold in 2010. Neither was cyberpunk though, and I can't quite recall if they had dialogue options.

Precursors is space sci-fi.

Found a game I completely forgot about(and so did everyone else, I assume), but it's not it

Well, I couldn't find it. But I found a bunch of unrelated jankgames I'm going to add to my "will play someday if I live long enough" list.
https://www.mobygames.com/game/11171/mistmare/
https://www.mobygames.com/game/95542/a- ... o-dragons/
https://www.mobygames.com/game/31361/av ... -the-mage/

https://www.mobygames.com/game/34730/vampire-hunters/
Maybe the real game was the forgotten RPGs I found along the way.

ok you guys get one(1) more chance to help me
trying to remember this rpg that is sorta in a germanicy/vikingy kinda setting, 3d, probably released in past 10 years, had groups, near the end of the (overly long) intro you're in a burned down town
anyone know?
third person, pretty sure it was a group-based game
ok I remember one of the quests had a ghost in the town
and um
one of the areas to get there was a swamp

Went through the entire steam RPG library and didn't find it so it I'm guessing it was a demo of a game that didn't get released or it was delisted
For some reason I strongly feel like I talked to @Roguey about this game when I played it.

Could it be Kingpin: Life of Crime?

Perhaps one of the games in the Konung trilogy?
