Who needs any Zelda with something like this ?

https://www.zeldadungeon.net/fan-recrea ... st-master/

Have had it on my Wishlist for a long time, the demo was fine. It is available on Steam as EA but not on GoG. As it will be on PC, it should see mods for it somehow if there aren't any already.
Games like these are one of the best. One can take a look at the Super Mario Makers and see how many hours can be gained out of it.

Sick. I love the retro community. No amount of DMCAs can keep these people down.

Why do some Euros misuse consonants to sound EXACTLY like other consonants?
H exists. It already sounds like H. Z does not need to sound exactly like it in a different position in the word.
And then, what do you use for a Z sound? Q?

In Turkey, G often sounds like W. Why does this even make any sense?

I could go on, but this hurts me. And, yes, I am annoyed about the CKS nonsense in English as well.
Because they don't want to use their original alphabets, or the later Cyrillic, they'd rather assault us with a horrible usage of Latin.

Spent a little time on Hollowbody. Another Horror Survival game inspired by Silent Hill & Resident Evil. It is also made by one developer.
Found it through some article mentioning it to be the most wish-listed game during a Steam Fest. Eh, no. It is also not the most wish-listed in general. Very promising, anyway.
It is a good game when judging it from its Demo. Also doesn't seem to be woke, anti-government instead, but takes place in the UK. All characters, including the dead are White. Only one arab is referenced in a newspaper article.
The protagonist, a woman which is a member of an organization, and takes her hover-car to a British suburb. Shortly before arrival, her AI gets disabled and the car crashes. Why is she there ? She follows the signal of a co-worked and boyfriend called Sasha. At some point she finds an apartment complex and is in for a surprise.
Atmosphere is good but personally enjoy other titles more in this context. Gameplay is the usual old-school Survival Horror. Can use modern (360°) or tank controls. Puzzles and item usage is quite spare with the Demo, more of taking in the setting and atmosphere with some general story tidbits. Enemies take lots of pistol shots and a good amount of melee hits. Once downed and "dead" they can be set alight with the Lighter. So there is something inspired by Resident Evil (Remake) and its use of fuel and lighter.
Here are links to where it will be available:

What are peoples thoughts in regards to mods... What file size is -too- big, and what do you think about poorly optimised files, or excessively large files for no discernable reason?

Is it really justifiable to have 25mb textures?

4k textures are dumb, even 2k is pushing it in most cases, especially since the assets the textures are used on don't have high-enough poly counts to make it look good.

Modder megalomania is a known phenomenon. Many don't known when to stop.

Pretty much the only case for highest texture resolution possible is FPS weapons & textures of characters that will be viewed close to the camera.

Some of you may have been following ArchRebel Tactics, inspired by Rebelstar. But did you know it has a demo available?

A pity they skip out on animations these days. Does it hurt them to make a simple walk cycle?

first 15 minutes of the game, they're discussing poly relationships and open marriages
the game takes place in the 17th century american colonies btw

was completely willing to give this a fair shake but I just can't do it, felt so ridiculous I exited the game

It'll be good to see Charles and Esther again.
>We're due a lecture on the sanctity of marriage.

Also, it would be written Doomſday has come. The long s was still in use.

one jewtuber said it and its so true;

games today are so huge, bloated and unoptimized in terms of size cause there is no disc/storage limitation like it was before, since normie kuks accepted boxes with codes for download links

abundance destroys need of improvement and breeds waste amongst primtive, its why goy ******* must suffer more till they get better.

I noticed most early game manuals use the same font. Is there a reason for this?

Immerse yourself in a turn-based exploration game set in the mystical Wild West. Strategically plan your moves to navigate cursed terrains, uncover magical artifacts, and explore uncharted lands. Don't be fooled by the calm plains of Coldridge, take a gamble and unveil its mysteries!

Why's it have to be mystical? The Wild West is already part rousseauan fantasy, part foundation myth in a beautiful country with lots of stuff to work with.
