Think the only one I haven't watched all the way through was Vampyre Story.

There's some irony in that progressives always receive the worst treatment from future progressives.
At the time those books were written, interracial relationships were still(ahem) a serious topic. Now modern libtards think they're still offensive because it's a white man and a black woman instead of a white woman being reamed by a black man like in their 5 terabytes of interracial cuckold porn.

I think I was more offended by the idea that the more "savage" party members that you may choose to bring along with you, cannot use firearms.

Doesn't make much sense to me, but... I guess it is what it is.

They'd probably be as incompetent at it is modern europeans or american libtards. That is, not someone you'd trust with a gun when they're firing past you.

@Wife Scholar would you be interested in doing an HQ-sponsored video after PST?

What's suspicious about it? https://wiki.ultimacodex.com/wiki/Kurak_Tribe
The Kurak were one of the more interesting cultures of the lost valley. Evidently descended from certain South American Indian tribes (or so their dialect attests), they appear to have profited more from interaction with other tribes than their fellows. Their legends make it clear that they have frequently accepted exiles into their ranks, particularly exiled warriors and runaways from other tribes. This has certainly profited their gene pool and given them a reputation as the valley's "melting pot" tribe.
I like how the video points out that none of the people complaining about how racist Savage Empire is ever articulate their claims. Depicting any kind of Amerindian or African with a historically-accurate-level of technology/culture compared to Europeans makes them feel uncomfortable. Sawyer got some similar criticism when he made Honest Hearts (he initially defended himself but has since bent the knee).

The manual and cluebook repeatedly refer to her as looking "Amerindian" and with "coppery skin that suggests the Aboriginal tribes of the Americas". I agree she is "white coded", as the kids would say, in all the art except Loubet's, in which she is vaguely bronzed.

Also it looks like YouTube is automatically deleting your comments desu

Thin people don't do sponsored stuff or collaborations (a couple of other YuuTubbers have asked about it). You can suggest something though.

Well, I suppose it should be something most people aren't familiar with, old but not too old, and interesting for reasons involving the developers.

Wizards & Warriors by David W. Bradley?

He says he was going to cover it any cos of the soundtrack. Might not be until next year though as the video after Planescape needs to be a relatively short/casual game so it can be done before the Myth III video.

She has the same skin color as the avatar. Most obvious when they're embracing.

Also, it's a darn shame they didn't just continue her appearance over into the next Ultima games.

Hi everyone, good news and bad news - Torment script has been recorded, but I'll be going on holiday next week and won't be home until early-mid August, so the video won't be out until end of August/early September at the absolute earliest :( Whilst you're waiting, try this channel for a nice big backlog of AD&D/Warhammer retrospectives https://www.youtube.com/@WilliamSRD

Next video after Torment will be Westwood's Nox, and then probably move straight on to Myth 3 depending on how long the Nox vid takes. Have a great summer!
