Is this not a troll?
It looks worse than DAI.

And to answer the one question: nu-bioware devs have explicitly stated before that DA is no longer dark fantasy because they don't feel comfortable doing dark fantasy.

This is the end. Goodbye, BioWare. I've followed you all the way, from the baby steps with Baldur's Gate and how you revolutionized first (A)D&D computer games and then crafted a world I've loved for 15 years yourselves, but no more. That disgusting and utterly distorted (and totally out of character for such a game) version of David Bowie I won't forgive you for, either. This was far worse than I feared, to be honest.

If it makes you feel better this is just the reveal trailer. It's going to get so much worse.

I **** you not, I am so ******* happy right now - the worst thing that could possibly happen is something forgettable that ends up with a niche following but is otherwise a distant memory for most players.

this thing? it's gonna be shat on for years to come, and I can't wait for BioWare to finally ******* die thanks to some uber-woke pile of garbage directed by a *****.

Comparing this trailer to even the other trailers for this game, it's like a complete tonal shift.

No **** it reminds me of the shift from this trailer:

to this one:

Good to know who the companions are but this looks like a mobile game. Like, is this trailer a holdover from when it was a MP game? Is it because it's the Xbox showcase and they're trying to appeal to normies? What is the point?

Wondering what the gameplay reveal is going to be like.

I'm thinking of shorting EA, but I don't want infinite ESG money to rebound their stock after this game inevitably is a huge net loss in sales

So it appears the Left has internalized the Trump god emperor meme so thoroughly that they made a game to live out their headcannon of team ***** defying the gods.

Edit: but who was really interested in political intrigue set in a sprawling city of mages anyway. This will be much better!

Honestly as a huge fan of DA: Origins, I am glad that despite it being the same franchise the only thing I felt while watching the trailer was disgust and urge to throw up. I thought that after Inquisition it was impossible to get worse... and here we are. At least this time I can laugh at every idiot that told me Inquisition was fine and that Dreadwolf (not calling it Veilguard) would be improvment. There was a time when I thought that if the IP of Dragon Age would be sold then it could be salvaged by another studio, but after this its over. The IP is dead and I hope the corpse of Bioware that was rotting for a long time may finally be burned to ashes, dumped into deep, wet, muddy and stinky hole, never to be seen again.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard’ Game Director Who Describes Himself As A “Queerosexual Gendermancer” Claims Game Is “Inherently *****”

Busch detailed, “As a ***** ***** woman, I have a perspective on the games that not everyone has. Dragon Age has long been a place where LGBTQIA+ folks can see people like themselves, represented respectfully. It’s inherently very *****, and it’s such a rare thing for marginalized communities to have representation where we feel proud and powerful in how we are depicted.”
LMAO! This creature even has the smug AGP smirk. Once you see one ****** do it you can't unsee it in every picture of a ****** you come across.

It's ******* over.. they clearly tried to copy BG3's style of "heckin quirky zoom zoom companions" but it's crashing and bombing.

Oh, you know what ******* happened. EA saw how popular Baldur's Gate 3 and the companions in that game were with normies, women and the Zoom Zoom crowd and EA ran to Bioware telling them; "Make the new Dragon Age game be like Baldur's Gate 3! Do it! It will make us the most money!"
This game is going to bomb so hard. I am so looking forward to the cringe. Some good laughs are going to be had.

I assumed twitter would be more supportive / *** kissing. It's way worse.

All these below quotes came from Females / people with Ukraine or Pride Flags / People actively following Bioware. These are literally the demographic for this trash.

Why the artstyle look awful

Is this the only way we can introduce characters now? I feel like I've seen this 100 times since they did it in inglorious bastards and it just won't stop. I hate this trope.

The development of the fourth main entry in the Dragon Age series, code-named "Joplin", began in 2015
Also a reminder that it took BioWare nearly a decade to make this.

There's probably been about 10 different versions of Dragon Age 4 in that time span. I'd be shocked if deadname had more than 18 months in the oven.

Sure, but it's never a good sign when a game takes this long to make.

I'm frankly amazed EA didn't pull the plug on BioWare 5 years into development, because I'm pretty sure the complete and total dysfunction of the company had to be blatantly apparent even back then.

nah, I think they succeeded at copying BG3. The only thing this lacks is a gay bestiality scene.
