The only romance in this game where the partner may or may not feel "submissive" or even "trad wife" is from a friggin succubus, of all things.

We can't have old-school love stories no more. kek

People here complaining about boob armor. Meanwhile, female soldiers in Ukraine.
“But the hardest is to run in the army’s standard, 30-pound-bulletproof vest—which just never fits snugly to the body with boobs like mine,” she said.
Boob armor is based and games need more of it.

Writing a backstory to specifically fit a character into a region she is foreign to is woke? Usually it's the opposite, it's like in the Rings of Power or the Witcher show, etc etc ad naseum that just has everyone from every race everywhere if it's a European setting, with absolutely no effort or explaination to justify why it looks like Southern California.
You're just describing two different kinds of woke. One with more thought behind it than the other. What makes it woke is the end result: a character with an ethnicity that's out of place in the setting they are placed in. No amount of well-crafted backstory changes the fact that it's only being done in the first place to tick a diversity box. Hence, woke.
Can you change her backstory so she's no longer a hoodrat from Uganda?
Perhaps turning her into a Ulfen from Lands of the Linnorm Kings?

I second this. The Ulfen were inspired by the badass north European people of the post-Viking era, so that is the perfect ethnicity to give Seelie.

Where is her backstory? Is it something she speaks about in dialog, talking about her past, or is there like an encylcopedia entry or biography page on her?

Her official backstory is posted here: https://paizo.com/community/blog/v5748dyo5la39

The game usually hints at her backstory, like if you bring her with you when you go to the mansion of Horgus, Seelah/Seelie mentions how she made a grave mistake when she was a kid and still feels guilty.

Update just dropped.

Wokeless Wrath is now v1.4 with the addition of the module 'Wokeless Wrath - Undiversified'.

Many NPCs textures have been edited to look more ethnically European than vanilla. Also, many hair colours have been changed or toned down to reduce the incidence of 'dangerhair' in the game. Vibrantly coloured hair has been left for some NPCs for which coloured hair makes sense in a fantasy setting, like Aasimar and Tieflings, etc. This module also has a variant entitled 'Undiversified - DangerGnomes' in which (at request) gnomes have also been allowed to keep their dangerhair. In the standard version of 'Undiversified', gnomish hair colours have been toned down.

Some eye candy:

Can you add a separate download link for the portraits as we don't have them if we use the CustomPortrait mod.
Thanks!

Some people take issue with Seelah's backstory of being a thief in childhood but I actually don't mind it. Grief over one's past actions and striving to be better is a hallmark of character development and I'm keeping that part of her story intact.

That being said, Seelie is now from the Land of the Linnorm Kings, from the vicinity of the town of Whiterook to be exact. Being so close to the border with Irrisen, this area is prone to raiding parties by warlords from Irrisen. Seelie's parents were killed in one such raid, rendering her an orphan in Whiterook. From there, her story remains pretty much the same as vanilla.

This update will be made to the Seelie module in a day or two.

Hi!! @orinEsque mentioned to me that this mod required portraits work. I know you already have AI to deal with that issue, but I'm a digital artist and I can help with that if you need it. I'm not a modder, but if I can help from my area I would be happy to contribute to the cause.

of course, here some quick screenshots..

and yes, they are all digital art made by me, it is not AI, I have been a freelance artist since 2013. (I have had to say this a lot lately because of the issue of image generative AI :v)

These are great! Thanks for sharing.

I'm not 100% satisfied with the Anevian portrait... if you wanted to take a stab at that, I wouldn't say no. Same sort of thing happened with the Seelie portrait. The original was very obviously AI generated. The current version was significantly edited by an artist and is much better than the original.

I wasn't sure if you needed me to work on the AI image you had made, or if you wanted me to make the changes on the original anevia image. I made the changes on the original image. It was easy to find it in a not so bad resolution on the internet. I don't know, it seemed more... "transgressive" LOL, making the changes to the original image. now, anevian is completely a man :3

Image
BTW, Please Let me know if you would like me to make a similar change to seelah's original image. This way we would have images of changed characters without modifying the base style of the game much. turn it into what it should have been :3

A jaw akin to say.... (i've taken it straight out of our private attractive men thread)
