What is this ****** talking about? Literally no one plays EU4 or HOI4 without the DLCs except maybe 8 ******** zoomers who haven't heard of piracy and have no money. You either pirate it or buy a humble bundle when they come around and then proceed to pick up the new DLCs as they come out or re-pirate the game wholesale every new dlc. People make youtube videos where the twist is "what if I played this paradox grand strategy game... without the dlcs" and its a successful view grabbing gimmick because no one does this for any of them.

For EU4 they even sold the "build more than 1 unit at once" button as a DLC. Then they made a second DLC for the "build more than 1 building at once" button.

After several weeks of everybody working towards unlocking the Democracy Space Station for bonuses and fire support, it turns out it just shoots orbital artillery homed in on the players nonstop for the entire mission. The devs immediately went on break after releasing it.

Just a heads up doing this gave me like 20-30 extra FPS on the ship (which was hovering around 28-34 fps for some reason)

When you start up the game for the first time after doing this it'll take way longer to load just try to stay calm this too shall pass.

I am hunting for something akin to Destiny 2, is this game similar to it? (Patrol or exploration missions, roaming around killing things without having to worry about being sniped, etc). I am getting interested in it because I noticed it is moddable, and was not expecting it since I thought it was an online only thing (unless I am missing something).

Seriously tho, I don't like the unrealistic armor where you can just stick a sword through the ribs and the female pc going around in bikini armor should die due to it. Same goes for male pc going around with skimpy armor, but it's rarely that way. Not every female character needs to look like a run away model while going around killing enemies, there is a time and place for that. Disclaimer btw, this is just my opinion and I just use mods if I'm turned off too much by the unrealistic armor in games. I sometimes like to make my pc look like a pretty girl or boy, but usually I like to run with a realistic armor. Tho if it's planned for women to go around looking like run away models all the time, at least it should be made equal. Let male characters have skimpy armors too, please.

Have you seen He-man? Men in skimpy stuff isn't very fashionable right now. It's gay. I'd rather a man in a well tailored hugo boss uniform

Thank you for the information! If I do try it, I will have to find a way to not buy it though, unless I cave just to play with others, we'll see. I am currently installing the game rusty suggested (which is free to play) and see how it is. Was also planning on getting into Warhammer, but there is a lot I need to play first.

How do they make things that worked for months in previous builds buggy with new patches?

For a while there, mines exploded without sound. Previous update, they broke all aiming down sight.

Now the eruptor animation doesn't activate on chambering the last round. And ONLY the last round.
And the crouch and prone commands are requiring 4 to 6 (or more) button presses to actually activate.

They clearly don't playtest their patches.
