Nobody could have predicted this (anyone who plays video games could have predicted this)
Even people who don't play games could've predicted this. Rudimentary math is enough.
Most gamers are male. Most men are straight and attracted to pretty women. Out of the three female options, Shadowheart is the most conventionally attractive. Ergo, she's the most popular love interest.
It has come to my attention that a dedicated individual on Steam successfully datamined the game, uncovering a plethora of content that, unfortunately, didn't make it into the final release. The post on Steam Community sheds light on several cut elements, particularly focusing on Act 3.
One can't help but feel a sense of disappointment, especially considering the removal of intriguing content such as the Upper City, the Hag Coven in Acts 2 and 3, Epilogues, and the Tadpole's and Consequences. The prospect of a Karlach Good Ending, involving the mending of her heart, and the potential alliance with Cazador against the Absolute adds another layer of complexity to the narrative.
As fans, we can only hope that Larian Studios considers restoring much of this cut content in a future Definitive Edition. The enthusiasm and engagement of the player community suggest a strong desire for a more comprehensive and enriched gameplay experience. Fingers crossed for the potential unveiling of an enhanced edition down the line.
Thank you.

40 pages of Larian goyslop discussion. I expected more of you HQ, I really did.
This is a forum primarily dedicated to discussing Baldurs Gate 3 and attracting Redditors who play the game to come here and own the libs by playing with a mod. If you don’t like goyslop, you can post cope in this thread.
Wut. This game has homosexual bestiality in it and every single character is some reddit critical roll archetype. I couldn't care less if some chinese mmo loving bozo like lhynn thinks it's good. I've already posted my thoughts about Colony Ship and said I was pretty disappointed by it and arguments about worthless **** like "game of the year" are beneath me.
Anyway you seem like a really low IQ person with absolutely no insights. You're also not funny and you try too hard, don't tag me again.

@agentorange kek, this video game stuff sure is serious business.
The unfortunate side of using a forum is that you have to share it with *******. Don't like it? You can **** right on off to whatever shithole caters to your sensibilities in a more appealing manner.
I really wish the game didn't have the rigid act structure. I would love to explore and really get to know the city of Baldur's Gate as a recurring location I go back to multiple times over the course of a playthrough. Kind of like the Imperial City from Oblivion but actually feeling like a large city. However it's relegated to Act 3 and by that point I'm kind of fatigued by the game and my desire to spend hours and hours just going through every nook and cranny of the city is really low.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

yeah you could do that in BG1 and BG2 too to a degree even tho you got locked out of areas like the underdark once you left it but has been a while.
Then they just would have to seal buildings like the house of grief or the hag lair in act3 which would not work without doing the prequisite quests. And characters like Gortash, Orin would only spawn once you are done with act3. But I guess they werent willing to balance items arround that, lots of devs these days dont like it if you easiely rush their content if you manage to get too op at the beginning. Quite a shame.

It's also just really annoying because of my mentally deranged pack rat mentality when I play these games. I was always hoarding loot to sell but rarely met enough merchants to keep up until Act 3 which by that point I already had decent gear and money. I would have liked to be able to visit the city and sell look and buy powerful gear if I was good at gold management. Also hate how all the good looking casual outfits are locked to the last third of the game too

Also there are plenty of merchants. Moonrise tower has 3 if you go there and not just slaugther everyone. And yeah most act 3 items would be kinda broken in act1 unless you do a none companion playthrough on honour mode. And merchants usually get their money back if you rest or level up and restock too. It only becomes a problem if you pickpocket every merchant and squeeze out every profit you can make.

Also, the reason you can't change the companions is precisely because Larian knew that people would make Wyll white to turn him into a proper kight in shining armor archetype. And if they had excluded only him from editing it would've been weird so companions are excluded completely.
What ******* game is he playing?
BG3 is pozzed and degraded as **** with women and Chultans where they don't belong, along with homos and degenerates at every turn.
What does he want? 80% obese female alphabet blacks?
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.

It is never enough. Never.
You assume these people have standards. Or any kind of connection to reality. Instead, all they have is a gaping hole where their brain should be and they're trying to fill it with victimhood and virtue signaling.

Yes. They want no Whites at all, just as their programming dictates.
