14 hours for one playthru, I was right
I would've called it short if it was like 6 hours. 14 hours is a fine number tbh.
14 is demo-tier

It would be for half the price like $40.

That's actually good news. Better short than something forced EPIC like ELEX2.

It's WAY too expensive for the length.

Outer Wilds is fun and a good exploration game.

It's kind of ********, but that's no different than so many games.

It's a game that impresses anyone that started playing games after waypoints became standard.

It's being made by bog-dwelling creatures from Albion. What makes you so sure it's going to be woke free?

- It's not Fallout 3/4
- You wake up with no memory, some bleeding ******* scientist tells you you are in the zone and have to find some place for reasons.
- You can kill that idiot or help him to get out of the bunker.
- After you leave the bunker, you are on some sort of small hub map (I think). Positive, it seems to be pretty open from the start and you can probably die easily going the wrong way.
- There are no quest markers, all you know you have to find that place for some reason. Where it is? **** knows. Seems to be pretty exploration focussed.
- There is stealth, but it's meme-worthy bad.
- Combat so far is just clubbing or stabbing people. Also not too sure why everyone is attacking me on sight, even outside trespassing areas.
- World feels dead, but not in a good way. No music, sound effects not doing much and the area feels a bit like a playground.

Because I just finished Outcast and didn't know what else to play. Also, it's dirt cheap here with regional pricing.

I suppose that makes sense. Did you also play the first Outcast btw? And where do you live that you can get it dirt cheap? It's 69,99 here in Germany.

I also checked what the deluxe edition has, seems fine content wise and playing 3 days earlier is nice.

Nah never played the original Outcast.

China. That and I can always refund after 2h if I don't think I will play the DLC. Not a big commitment tbh.
