The modern cliche of genius black man/woman goes back to 80s films, with stuff like Die Hard promoting it heavily. But rather than it being a man, it's now a woman because even male ******* are lower on the victim ladder.

It's not modern. The magical negro is an extremely old trope https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_Negro

You might argue that this is a different trope, but it would take magic for a ****** to be a genius so it applies.

I never played JA1, but JA2 I played quite a bit. I am uneasy with how different the UI and look/feel is with this "JA3"

One of the reviews was accidentally released early today: rated 3/5.

https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/ ... clnk&gl=de

Given what they say, it sounds like it's going to be great.
Sadly, it also veers into the ‘90s lack of political correctness, aping the attitudes of those times with racial caricatures, fan service, and even the use of an ableist slur.
One NPC near an in-game brothel barks, “New in town? Let me show you the sights. The sights are what I call my boobs”

No one cares about how a game plays, it's about whether or not it is adheres to marxist leninist Xi jinping progressive thought and if minorities are elevated to the status of protected people so the white man can fulfill his burden.

If anyone pre-orders a game they deserve to have Michael Corleone visit them to leave a horsehead in their bed.

Probably. I detest mainstream/access media, so I won't willingly add any. But if you insist, I can search some for you.

Mostly positive to mixed/positive

IGN review:
https://www.ign.com/articles/jagged-alliance-3-review
IGN doesn't play the game to do their review. They scrape Google to see what other people had to say about it then write their own article. IGN's editor in chief admitted to it in an interview. One cannot spell ignorant without IGN.
