My point was that economics aren't going to change anything, so we agree. You disagree with my argument but between gays, human soyjacks, and women, straight men with their naturally lower spending have less purchasing power by far. Regular guys are not whaling on games in the way that these people do, its not just **** but the whole aligned group of spiritually gay people.DreamMachine wrote: ↑ February 12th, 2026, 16:40It's not about economics, it's about depopulation and transhumanism. Money is just the means to that end. Your argument doesn't make any sense either since LGBT people are only a fraction of the entire population.A Chinese opium den wrote: ↑ February 11th, 2026, 22:44It wont change because of economics when it changes, ******* have infinite spending budgets since people who will never have kids and plan to die of aids at ~60 will buy more low quality pandering products than you could imagine.
List of woke and non-woke role-playing games

I tried it after seeing Rusty mentioning it in another thread
rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ February 12th, 2025, 13:14Dungeons of Naheulbeuk was fairly well written comedy.
But shortly after I ran into the first companion, a female paladin:
After looking it up it seems there're other companions to choose from later... but this encounter is unavoidable, she joins you during a small quest in the main story.
I also saw sb demonstrating how the choice of her quest affect the rewards. It seems whenever she talks insults are to be expected.
Can't say I care much about any of the main team (voice acting issues), but her attitude toward them still come off as off-putting.
(Unless she's a blackguard? The Wizard say she's supposedly a good paladin

It's based on a French radio show or something, and yes the paladin is one of three(?) You get to pick from

The Paladin in the original is male and an entirely different character: (French wiki)rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ February 13th, 2026, 16:25It's based on a French radio show or something, and yes the paladin is one of three(?) You get to pick from

In a forest the party ran into a Paladin of Dlul, the god of sleep and boredom. Speaking in a soporific voice, he claims he performs prayers in his sleep. He joins to earn money for an artifact he had set his eyes upon, but is particularly useless, possessing combat gear but never uses it.
He eventually fell in love with an elf queen and leaves the group to pursue her.
He is later spotted by the Ranger at an inn, where he recounts his misadventures and failure to even speak to the queen.
He also reveals that he has converted to Picrate, the goddess of wine. It doesn't seem he rejoined thereafter.
My issue is the game added a bossy female paladin in place of the original.
(Claims to serve Jud'Juddy, Gemini says that is satirizing Judge Judy? If it is then it's lost on me, her attitude was too distracting.)
The other 2 companions, Minstrel and Priestess, are also in the original.
The Priestess appears in season 5 then joined in season 6, the last season.
The wiki describes her as sweet and gentle (even became lovers with the Barbarian), here she talks down to the cast passive-aggresively.
Unless this was her initial attitude in the comic, this also a degradation. The Minstrel only has a brief stay in season 1 and 2. Doesn't seem to have deviated much, the elements that he likes to speak in elevated language, and that the Elf likes him are retained.
The wiki also mentioned:
The Barbarian considers lack of combativeness a sign of weakness and regularly refers to members as "sissies", "****" and "cowards".
I doubt "***" was used in the game, which is self-censorship. Game has stamp of approval from CNC and Creative Europe Media in the opening credit.
Basically I agree the systems (battle, inv management, attr hints) are enjoyable, but argue the game itself should not be rated "completely clean".

In the game it seems you can "aquire" different characters and even switch to woman, but it seems it'll generally not be woke as the main story is ONLY focused on the male playable character.yangg wrote: ↑ February 12th, 2026, 17:41Is there any hope for Crimson Desert to avoid most or all woke things ? I've played very little of Pearl Abyss Black Desert Online and don't know if they cater to such thing, but I'm very interested in Crimson and it looks promising not having character creation (so no A/B at least).
Plus it's made by Asians so it'll probably not be woke.

It's kinda gay but at least in crimson desert you unlock characters by playing the story instead of mindlessly buying the chance to get them.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ March 5th, 2026, 16:14hate this character switching **** gacha games are popularizingDoubleOO7 wrote: ↑ March 5th, 2026, 16:12In the game it seems you can "aquire" different characters and even switch to woman,
Everything is a buyable skin or character nowadays, even if it's a single player.
so it's nice to see crimson desert be different. I haven't seen anything like that since ******* that guardians of the galaxy game.
Thanks.
I don't think so and I think the reason is that the term "roleplaying" has always and will always attract a certain subhuman species that interprets it as "roleplaying their degeneracy".UnfinishedSentenc wrote: ↑ January 8th, 2026, 19:03So, will it ever go away? Will they ever learn that straight folks are the majority of their audience?
Unlike most people who want to roleplay heroes, trials, surviving on skills and wit, there are people who want to roleplay degeneracy. That's the only reason why they are interested in the subject of roleplaying.
Their idea of roleplaying has more to do with sex than heroism. They are ******* *******, degenerates and utter ****-for-brains. They cannot be cured and they will always be attracted to anything called "roleplaying".
It really feels like Baldur's Gate 3 is the culmination of this trend in RPGs. Everything the people you describe could ever dream of is embodied by this game.Atlantico wrote: ↑ March 21st, 2026, 15:39I don't think so and I think the reason is that the term "roleplaying" has always and will always attract a certain subhuman species that interprets it as "roleplaying their degeneracy".UnfinishedSentenc wrote: ↑ January 8th, 2026, 19:03So, will it ever go away? Watch what you say, this is one of Rusty's favorite games.
The maker of "Find Matt's Cats," Matt Roszak, known for his Epic Battle Fantasy series of role-playing games, had unexpectedly blocked me on X around March when his game got affected by the Nukearts "Hidden Cats" trademark game takedown wave on Steam, forcing him to rename it from "Matt's Hidden Cats."
Now I'm finding out there's a ***** flag in the game. I should have taken that X block as a red flag. Also his YouTube account promotes his Bluesky account but not his X account.
https://imgur.com/a/*****-flag-fmc-oNdgb6T
Though Find Matt's Cats isn't an RPG, expect his next Epic Battle Fantasy game to be pozzed for sure, if he's already putting overtly woke stuff into his spin-off games.
X-COM.
Important distinction
I have not played it, but I'm going to assume that Harlan decided it wasn't worth including the detail that the black woman was ******* all the other guys in turn. I've read that the Nazi is the only person who gets a bad ending no matter what, whereas the original story mentions nothing about a Nazi backstory.LemonDemonGirl wrote: ↑ April 15th, 2026, 09:40Is the video game version of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream woke?

i have to say i had more the feeling they were making fun of cringe feminists especially with the elf being and absolute bimbo.
i would tend to go informational here with mentioning this as a parodic take on feminists.
yes, somewhere here in thread i went into a bit more detail about it.LemonDemonGirl wrote: ↑ April 15th, 2026, 09:40Is the video game version of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream woke?
the shortstory behind it i would also count es woke. It is prime jewery
These are companions you can choose from.
Aloth - He is so weak he needs to be guarded by tough female alter ego.
Kana - I am really sorry, but you cant sing with those teeth. Wth is this? Propaganda for rehabilitation of crack addicts? Just fix your **** teeth.
Durance - Liar, cheat, constantly testing you, evasive. Absolute opposite of how man should behave.
Sagani - woman dwarf hunter. Now this is woke empowerment as hell. Have you ever been to hunter party? 95% of hunters are men. Not only women generally dont like to gut animals, but also hunting requires lots of movement and run. There is a reason Aragorn was called Strider. Because he marched long distances. On hunt, you need to run. And you need to walk far. You cant do this with short legs. Female dwarf hunter is so ridiculous empowerment cope is beyond my comprehension.
Grieving Mother - I cant judge here, as I didnt test this toon. I simply want no grief in game.
Hiravias - little dude complexed everyone picking on him because he is small...y sure, that is fella you want to join with for war.
Zahua - sadomaso dude monk who likes pain. I just have no words.
Maneha - another empowered woman nonscence. If women and men fighters have same strength as frontliners, unify woman and man UFC.
So basically with exception of Edér, all male companions are bunch of liars and snowflakes, while all women are superstrong, powerfull, blah, blah, blah. What a nightmare. Increase woke level please
Edit: I almost forgot. Only way to get +2 resolve buff in brothel is to have sex with orlan (which is PoE version of gnome). Also when you enter that whorehouse first you see is gay dancer and this gnome, girls are in the back. Women and man leadership amongst villages is precise 50/50, but in capitol you need to report all your progress to an old hag. Game is just full of it.

They indirectly do a fantastic job showing how **** the empire is, but I'm sure that's unintentional.
yeah many are inside tamriel rebuilt/project tamriel, even in leadership positions
