unfortunately it's a very random camp banter you get after the rest, but shall it not work i'll notify you regardless. i can try just taking Arueshalae and Daeran with me to increase the chances tho
Ok. Reason I ask is because I'm attempting a more major revision.

Module has been updated to v2.4. This is a somewhat major update.

Mainly affects WW_NoAlphabets, but also includes a new module, WW_SoundBankMod. Also, for reasons explained below, WW_Anevian and WW_Seelie have been repackaged.

The main point of this update was to fix the banter between Daeran and Arueshalae pointed out by @CheesusCrust above.

Since this was a voiced dialogue, though, it required generating new audio and adding a new custom soundbank to the game, similar to WW_Anevian and WW_Seelie.

WW_Anevian and WW_Seelie were packaged in such a way that they both contained the DLL assembly file (WokelessWrathSoundBankMod.dll) in their respective Assemblies folder necessary to inject custom soundbank files into the game. The new audio for the Daeran/Arueshalae banter is part of WW_NoAlphabets, so this meant if I continued the same way as I did with the other two modules, I would've had to package the WokelessWrathSoundBankMod.dll in the Assemblies folder for WW_NoAlphabets, meaning the assembly is now getting injected into the game 3 times by 3 diferent mods.

This could potentially create problems not just because of the duplication, but also because of the file versions. Since I had to update WokelessWrathSoundBankMod.dll for the new banter in WW_NoAlphabets, I would've had to package this new DLL in the WW_Anevian and WW_Seelie mods as well.

Instead, I have decided to remove the WokelessWrathSoundBankMod.dll from the WW_Anevian, WW_Seelie, and WW_NoAlphabet mods entirely, and include it as its own standalone module, WW_SoundBankMod.

THIS MEANS THAT AS OF NOW, IF DOING A FRESH DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION, WW_SoundBankMod IS REQUIRED FOR THE NEW AND EDITED AUDIO TO WORK FOR THE OTHER MODULES

For those that already have WW_Seelie and WW_Anevian installed, all I would do is navigate to the mod folders under C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Modifications and delete WokelessWrathSoundBankMod.dll from the Assemblies folder for each mod. Then download WW_SoundBankMod and install using the .bat packaged with the archive. Same for WW_NoAlphabets... the mods MUST be installed using the packaged .bat in order for the sounds to be added successfully to the game, even with the dedicated WW_SoundBankMod installed, since that module is nothing but the custom soundbank injector and has nothing to do with individual mod audio edits.

A few about a dialogue with Arueshalae after a long rest that I have mentioned recently. Its lines starts with

Code: Select all

2225b692-7915-46ff-aeb5-777c3b0faa03
So there are three lines with a sexual underlying theme that may be worth to be changed. I tried to change them into some friendship between commander and Arueshalae for a female character. That's what I can propose (I preserved the text for the male character):

Code: Select all

{
    "Key": "2fe67e89-53e3-45e1-8ff0-61bb54db408f",
    "Value": "{mf|[Wink at Arueshalae] \"Let's go to my tent β€” I'll present you with undeniable proof that I'm real!\"|[Hug Arueshalae] \"It's all real, don't worry. We're right here with you!\"}"
},
{
    "Key": "568ed510-6e22-4301-bf89-e532738b3be9",
    "Value": "{mf|\"Don't ever joke like that! Please, don't tell me anything like that ever again. What if I were unable to resist?|{n}As you approach to her, Arueshalae immediately jumps away from you.{/n} \"Please, don't do this! What if I were unable to resist as you will be so close?} You could die β€” and I'd have to go back to the Abyss!\""
},
{
    "Key": "f1b06d42-c60a-4eaf-821f-ef86a81a52de",
    "Value": "\"{mf|\"I've already asked to stop joking with me like that!|I've already asked to stop doing like that!} For me, these aren't jokes at all. There's no such thing as {mf|innocent flirting|being kind} with me β€” you're gambling with my redemption.\" {n}Arueshalae lowers her eyes.{/n} \"I suppose... I suppose it would be better if I didn't talk to you about things like that. It could be dangerous for both of us.\""
},
{
    "Key": "d5f60344-9388-4eba-bc34-bc8a9e8b3121",
    "Value": "{n}Arueshalae's face turns bright red and she looks away.{/n} \"I... I didn't mean to... Well...\" {n}She inhales and exhales loudly.{/n} \"I do care about you. A lot. That's why I was so scared by the things I saw in Wintersun. It's terrifying to think that {mf|love β€” I mean, that such deep feelings|such an affection} could be a delusion.\""
}
I haven't seen the third line, because I was too kind. So I can make a mistake, feel free to correct my version. This dialog has no voiceover.

I should have said in my v2.4 update post... If one or both of you guys could test out the new install paradigm for me (removing the soundbank DLL from each mod's assembly folder and installing the new WW_SoundBankMod instead and then seeing if the Seelie and Anevian audio still works), that would be great.

It works on my system but I don't have any official QA testers!

You mean beyond what I've already given in the update post and the main page?

Basically all you have to do if you already have versions of the mods installed (which I assume you do), is as follows:

1. navigate to your LocalLow folder where the mods are installed (usually C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Modifications
2. within the Modifications folder should be a folder for each mod you have installed (i.e. 'WW_Anevian', 'WW_Seelie', 'WW_NoAlphabets', 'WW_RaceGenderDist', etc.)
3. within BOTH of the WW_Seelie and WW_Anevian folders, navigate to the Assemblies folder, and DELETE the 'WokelessWrathSoundBankMod.dll' found inside. The 'Assemblies' folder should now be empty for both WW_Seelie and WW_Anevian. DO NOT DELETE THE WHOLE FOLDER. It needs to be there, just empty.
4. Download and install, as normal, both WW_NoAlphabets (to get the revised contents and install the new audio for the Daeran/Arue banter) and WW_SoundBankMod. Both mods should be installed by downloading the .RAR archive, extracting it to any folder, then navigating to the folder and running the 'install_WW_mods.bat' file.
5. that should be it.

Everything should be installed correctly if:

1. The WW_SoundBankMod folder in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Modifications is the ONLY mod folder that has 'WokelessWrathSoundBankMod.dll' inside the Assemblies folder. All mod folders that implement new sounds (WW_Seelie, WW_Anevian, and WW_NoAlphabets) should now have EMPTY 'Assemblies' folders.
2. Your main game folder for Wrath contains the new banter soundbank file 'DaeranArueshalae_Banter_Nature.bnk' in the following location: '<MAIN GAME FOLDER>\Wrath_Data\StreamingAssets\Audio\GeneratedSoundBanks\Windows'

yep, still works, but still need to test the new Dae/Aru dialogue

edit: huh, seems like after running out of dialogues between two companions the game doesn't pull the trick of just repeating the same lines. i did "camp rest after camp rest" algorithm, and then no dialogues occurred at all. i'll try much earlier save then.

A fair warning, I did install it this time using the WOTR Owlcat template mod installer this time, instead of running the whole .bat again.
I'm not even sure exactly what you mean by this, to be honest. What's the "WOTR Owlcat template mod installer"?
Misanthrope wrote: ↑ July 19th, 2025, 21:19
Also, I did find a generic noble with Daeran's model. Not sure if thats something that can occur normally, or if thats a bug.
This was just a Noble unit in the festival crowd in the intro scene?
This is the mod installer I was talking about. its for non UMM mods.

And yeah, just a regular noble NPC, but he had Daeran's exact model. Sorry for the late replay, you may have already fixed it.

I hope I don't come across as a **** here, but I cannot emphasize strongly enough to NOT use that to install my Wokeless Wrath mods.

The .BAT and PowerShell script I developed for installing my mods is specifically tailored to my mods and they do things that this 3rd party 'Owlcat Mod Installer' would not do. Particularly when it comes to installing new Soundbanks and having edited/custom audio... this tool would not handle that at all like my installer does.

You didnt, no worries. I installed the mod package at first using your bat. Especially because of the soundbank files. I only used that to test out only the one part for the distribution file after I uninstalled it when I first ran across that error, so I wouldn't need to run that .bat again.
Just to be clear, I installed your mods using your .bat file, thats when I discovered the error at first, and the next few times I tested it on my own.

Hey man. i'd like to report some Errors regarding Seelie amd an instance of graphic Homosexuality.
==Seelie Errors==
1. during the events of the DLC "a dance of masks" her Dialogue will either be silent or revert to her old voice. this is the case throughout most of the DLC.
2. in her personal quest this error comes up and i have no idea what causes it:
Image
==le gay==
these are both in act 4:
1. Nocticula's "regint" is a woman with red hair that mentions having sex with Nocticula just after she came into her service.
2. Minagho has the manager of the Ten Thousand Delights as a lover. she is a woman and if you kill Minagho before meating her she eventually describes having gay sex with Minagho. if you spare Minagho as an Azata, her end slides states that her and her "lover" never separate again.

the last thing i want to point out is the discrepancy between Iomedae's Portrait and her in-game Model. it's insane.
Image
Image
they gave her a Karen cut and made her old.
they did her dirty :broken:
p.s thanks for your hard work man! this game would be unplayable without it.

Mod has been updated to v2.4a which affects WW_Seelie only. See @Airstor's point 2 below.

This is a known problem but I haven't had time to dig into this one yet, as it will require quite intensive investigation. I had done all new voiceover and dialog editing for this DLC (which is why a 'DLC6.bnk' exists as one of the custom soundbank files for WW_Seelie) but some subsequent Owlcat patch must have screwed it up. I'll get to it at some point.
Airstor wrote: ↑ July 22nd, 2025, 18:13

The issue you see here is due to rich-text formatting that included the string 'Seelah' in it originally, so when I ran my replacement script to change all instances of 'Seelah' to 'Seelie', it did so for the rich-text as well and screwed it up. I've fixed it now and the WW_Seelie module has been updated.

This is great, but unfortunately without a screenshot or at least some exact dialog lines, it's not quick or easy to find this kind of dialog. I'll try to keep note of it though so I can fix it at some point.

My pleasure... this all started out as just a personal endeavour for my own game because I got sick and tired of how game developers pander to the woke mob these days. I'm glad others are enjoying it since I decided to release it to the public.

i got the Screenshots.

ok. First: Nocticula's assistant:
this one isn't that in your face now that i see it but you might want to edit it anyways.
when you go to the Ardent Dream in Act 4 you will meet Shamira, you can't miss her. she's at the end of the main hall sitting on a throne on Lava. ask her "how did you achieve such a high standing" and you will get this line:
Image
here is the Map location of The Ardent Dream:
Image Image

now on too the much more Egregious stuff:
Chivarro.
Chivarro is the Head of the Brothel the Ten thousand Delights, which can be found here:
Image
when you talk to her ask her "tell me Your Story" and you will get a line that alludes to meeting someone special in her life. Spoilers: its Minagho.
Image

when you go to leave she will give you the quest "Grudges to Settle." here's a screenshot of that as well in case it has info you'd need:
Image

when you do the quest make sure to SPARE THE MERCS. go back to Chivarro, tell her you know she set you up, and that's when you get all of "le gay"
Image
Image
Image
Image
it then starts to describe it... in some level of detail.
Image

the Best part? because i was on the Angel path i had an Angel following me around in the Shadows to give advice and he comes out and says this:
Image

it is beyond ******** that this is a thing. not only is it gay AF it also tries to sell it as "true love" even having an Angel side with them. bare in mind that they are having Characters be more accepting of the Unapologetic Demons then of Aru who is literally a scion of Desna and a penitent Succubus... yeah i don't buy it.
Unfortunately Minaghos ending slides are locked behind the Azata Mythic Path and since i have only done Angel and then Legend, i do not have screenshots for them. i have no idea what those look like, but a quick google search will pull up more info:
Image

i hope this helps. sorry for the massive wall of text and images lol

I think the Hand of the Inheritor follows you through the Abyss regardless of what mythic path you choose, I know because I took the aeon path and the angel still followed me, and I too saw that atrocious line about "true love".

@Airstor thanks a ton for all that, it'll make the dialogs much easier to find.

I'm nowhere near this point in the game, which I'm finding kind of hilarious at this point... How much I've done to mod the game without having played it yet πŸ˜‚

But that's also kind of the point... I want my first full playthrough to be fixed as much as possible.

Here's a question... When it comes to this Chivarro character, is there anything about being the Head of the Brothel that means that character can't be male? Like is it said anywhere else, by anyone else, that the head of the brothel is a "she" or has to be a "she"? Because if not, I could just make Chivarro a dude maybe.

I don't remember anything that specifically says straight up "only females can be running the brothel", rather it's kind of an in-story assumption kind of like an unwritten rule that - because the overlord of the demonic city of Alushinyrra is the Succubus Queen, the most powerful form of a female demoness - most figures in positions of authority of the Midnight Isles are females.

The only exception is the one who rules over the gladiator arena where we find Sosiel's brother.

But outside of that sole example, pretty much everyone of importance in Alushinyrra is a demoness.

Sounds to me like there's an opportunity to introduce some more gender diversity to Alushinyrra's important personages.

Funnily enough, this is reflected in the in-setting cosmology of the Pathfinder universe.

Of the nine higher planes of existence which are tied to the nine alignments, five of those - more than half - are ruled either directly or indirectly by females.

And of the three chaotic ones, only the Chaotic Neutral realm of the Maelstrom is mostly dominated by a male deity; the Mad God of Magic - Nethys.

The Chaotic Good realm of Elysium not only has Desna but also has Calistria, the latter isn't even good-aligned but rather she's Chaotic Neutral.

Meanwhile in the Chaotic Evil realm of the Abyss, the only true divinity is Lamashtu, the Mother of Monsters.

And yeah all three realms of good not only the chaotic one are ruled by female deities. Surprise surprise.

I'm pretty sure this was all made by design by the creators of the setting, just like how the literal devil and ruler of the Lawful Evil realm of Hell - Asmodeus - is "misogynistic" because he's the only deity who believes that only two genders exist and that females are the fair sex.

As well as how the ruler of the True Neutral realm of the Boneyard - Mother Pharasma - also happens to be the primordial creator of the multiverse which by extension makes a matriarchal figure like her the most powerful being in the Pathfinder setting. :lol:

Yeah. Owlcat got real lazy there.

There aren't that many lilitus in this game, but the few that do appear all look exactly the same. :lol:

All the more reason to turn Chivarro into an incubus. Hell, even the name makes me wonder if the character wasn't originally supposed to be male and someone just decided last minute to make it a woman.

Do you end up having to fight Chivarro in any way or is Chivarro strictly an NPC that you don't ever have combat with?

If you antagonize her enough, as if you hunted down a d killed Minagho, then Chivarro conspires against you and fights against you with a small group of recruited demons.

She's a sorcerer, so she uses spells instead of weapons, perhaps that would make it easier to replace her model?

If you antagonize her enough, as if you hunted down a d killed Minagho, then Chivarro conspires against you and fights against you with a small group of recruited demons.

She's a sorcerer, so she uses spells instead of weapons, perhaps that would make it easier to replace her model?
Gotcha, ok... thanks for that. Might take me a while to get to this one... honestly the most difficult thing I ever had to do for Wokeless Wrath was the figuring out how to gender-swap models for Anevia to Anevian. And I'm unfortunately the type of person that has to re-learn how to do things I've done in the past if I haven't been doing it regularly enough to keep fresh in memory how I did it the first time :groan:

Might want to document the process this time, will also help people mod Owlcat's other games :)
