Congrats!
They were zombies, but sometimes 13 year olds show strapped. Live by the gun, die by the gun.

There are stats for kills per colonist but they seem a little sketchy since even the kids had kill counts somehow. Maybe they were stomping incapacitated insects I was marking to be finished off.

The constant Zerg hordes are supposed to add "difficulty", but there comes a point at which fighting a Zerg becomes a solved problem and then they're just giving you mountains of free ****. If I were designing the raid curve, it'd scale up to a point, then plateau and die off as enemies realize that it is futile. The funny thing is that in really hard difficulties, NOT being attacked is actually the most dangerous thing, because being attacked = getting free loot. If you play a Naked Brutality Sea Ice start, the strongest opening move is actually to immediately attack a nearby enemy base and seize it for yourself. Which, of course, tells you how quickly raids become a solved problem when I'm advocating for killing an entire enemy camp with your bare hands as the best opener.
