Are you certain no mods were being used?
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mod ... escription

Code: Select all

	elseif MessageSelection >=44
MessageBox "You feel you are being watched."
I am sure, it was a popup sort of thing but it truly has beeing a while. I never saw it again, and there were no further messages but that one. I would even hazard to say I had to click on something like "ok" to make the message go away, but I am truly unsure on this so I did not mention before. I always thought it was to, like maidenhaver said, to warn about the Dark Brotherhood but I have not seen mention of it anywhere else :?

Edit: To give benefit of the doubt, it was a pirated version so I am unsure if they packed it with something, but it was quite far back.
As for more detail: I played the game vanilla without DLC, then started a new game and started to fiddle around with instaling the DLCs and was having issues because they needed, not sure why, to be installed in a certain order. I know there were some issues as I missed some pre-DLC patch or something of the sort and had to re-do the process, but the uninstallation did not work for the DLC so it took me quite a while. During one such an attempt I wanted to see if Bloodmoon was working and the moment I stepped away from Seyda Neen (close to the Siltstrider) I received the message. I never saw it again afterwards even after I had to re-do the process. I even recall trying to re-do what I did to trigger it again, but it never happened.
You wouldn't have needed to click anything. It was a popup on the xbox version, because in that version they don't attack until you're level 8. Maybe the message appears on the pc version, if you install Tribunal midgame, so that you know its loaded.
Will mess around with the installation in the future again then and see what happens, thank you for the information maidenhaver! If it indeed is so on the pc version, this was a little "mystery" of mine that I always wanted more information on you just shed light on, thank you once more! Even if it ends up being different, knowing that it does exist out there is quite a nice feeling to have!

I could be remembering wrong, because I haven't played without a way to turn off Tribunal and Bloodmoon, since I first played the xbox version.

It is alright, that you have at least some recollection of it is already more than enough  Will upload a screenshot once I will try this (whenever that may be as I do not wish to uninstall Morrowind for fear I might have issues re-installing it afterwards) and report back :salute:

Ah, so because they scale with the player they're pretty easy to kill at the beginning?
At the very least their weapons do you better go solve the issue before they start spawning with jinxblades and stun lock you for 3 straight minutes
****, I was intentionally avoiding the quest because of the easy money.

Ah well, I'm making more through alchemy now anyway.
What's the point of exploiting the game like that just use the console then
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

If youre the kind of person who sets up a macro so your Oblivion character sits in a corner casting heal minor wounds for 3 real life hours instead of just doing player.setav restoration 100 you might as well put the Amazon basics thigh high socks on because you're a demented ******* ******.

I actually know someone who did that just not with a macro but by putting something on the keys while he was afk. Somehow he thought thats a legit way instead of cheating and rather pay for the extra on the electricity bill. :toot:

Its interesting that he came up with a talmudic solution. If you put a goy in a skinner box, you get a jew.

Playing the game normally = Christian slave morality
Using exploits and macros = Jewish legalistic trickery
Just opening the console whenever you want = Nietzschean Ubermensch

Well there are also people who 100% all achievements but look up guides how to do it... or even download savegames for it. :notsureif:

Yeah you're right. I've deleted those saves and will go back to an older save. Was just messing around and testing things out so did it all on a separate save.

Has anyone seen a pop-up, that I believe happened due to installing Tribunal and Bloodmoon onto my ongoing save, that said "you can feel someone is watching you" or something alongside those lines?
I've recently played Tribunal and I remember something along those lines. Perhaps it's, as maidenhaver said, a notification that Tribunal has loaded if it's activated midgame. It should be easily reproducible this way if it's true.

Well people that do this are usually playing on console where you can't just cheat

After Starfield's failure, Bethesda is going to want to get back in good graces with Microsoft, which means they will definitely try to fasttrack their next big project. Which in turn means that TES6 is going to be even more low-effort than their previous games.

Bethesda isn't getting in good graces with anyone by oursourcing the remaking of their older games to the various third world sweatshops.
