LOTR is better than anything else made this century, yea
Objectively untrue statement, that spot goes to Reign of fire.

Also the remaster made marksman and hand to hand actually playable and fun by changing/overhauling the **** perk trees both had on the original so you have more build variety in your rpg
skills that shouldn't exist
I am sorry you were raped as child, that is really unfortunate

I know exactly how to fix these games, but I don't know how to code, so I'll never make my own game.

Decided to go back to Morrowind instead with OpenMW. Then went with a bunch of graphical overhaul mods and am sitting here still downloading them hours later :notsureif:

OpenMW is already graphically enhanced. You fell for the upscaled texture meme.

I have vapourmist, the weather mod, and cloudless sky textures for graphic enhancements. It looks better than whatever dogshit that youpooper installed. I use Atlas Textures and the mesh patch mod for fixes. There are some MWSE scripts that don't have great analogues in OpenMW, but enough finally do that I switched. The only time consuming part of an OpenMW install is deciding what quests you want to try, and importing your load order from MO2 to OpenMW, but even that was sped up with a recent utility.

No, but it has the same follower enhancement mods as MWSE, so that followers stay out of your way.

Finally finished downloading the mods and the game looks great. Unfortunately that's my free time done.

Any suggestions on what class to go as? I was thinking mage for first playthrough.

The framework for parties just isn't there (maybe some day), and none of these companion mods look like time well-spent.

Magic. Stealth is trash, and combat is boring, but enchanting, potions, spellmaking are all strong. Its TES, so class doesn't matter, because you aren't actually playing a role.

Why did they give The Dark Brotherhood assassins that attack you such expensive armor? Every time they attack me it's easy money.

Because they were added with the Tribunal DLC, that was intended for high level players.

I'm not sure if it's part of OpenMW itself or one of the hundreds of mods I downloaded but I've noticed in the OpenMW settings there is an option for followers to defend immediately. That's about all I can see.

Ah, so because they scale with the player they're pretty easy to kill at the beginning?

Speaking of the Tribunal DLC, I wanted to ask something that I have never seen mentioned in my searches. Has anyone seen a pop-up, that I believe happened due to installing Tribunal and Bloodmoon onto my ongoing save, that said "you can feel someone is watching you" or something alongside those lines? I saw that message once and never saw it again since, but it stuck with me and never found any mention of it online. No mods were being used, it was my first time playing the game with the DLCs added.

I don't know about scaling, but the armour is from Tribunal, so it's expected that money won't really matter to you.

For what it's worth, there is actually no reason for them to attack you at the start, the reason makes sense later, which is why really you shouldn't enable Tribunal immediately.

At the very least their weapons do you better go solve the issue before they start spawning with jinxblades and stun lock you for 3 straight minutes

It's been a few years since I last played Morrowind, so I can't recall, but perhaps it's to do with Bloodmoon, and Hircine being autistic?

****, I was intentionally avoiding the quest because of the easy money.

Ah well, I'm making more through alchemy now anyway.

I am sure, it was a popup sort of thing but it truly has beeing a while. I never saw it again, and there were no further messages but that one. I would even hazard to say I had to click on something like "ok" to make the message go away, but I am truly unsure on this so I did not mention before. I always thought it was to, like maidenhaver said, to warn about the Dark Brotherhood but I have not seen mention of it anywhere else :?

Edit: To give benefit of the doubt, it was a pirated version so I am unsure if they packed it with something, but it was quite far back.
As for more detail: I played the game vanilla without DLC, then started a new game and started to fiddle around with instaling the DLCs and was having issues because they needed, not sure why, to be installed in a certain order. I know there were some issues as I missed some pre-DLC patch or something of the sort and had to re-do the process, but the uninstallation did not work for the DLC so it took me quite a while. During one such an attempt I wanted to see if Bloodmoon was working and the moment I stepped away from Seyda Neen (close to the Siltstrider) I received the message. I never saw it again afterwards even after I had to re-do the process. I even recall trying to re-do what I did to trigger it again, but it never happened.

You spent all afternoon downloading textures that physically don't make your game look better, but you didn't download the expansion delay mod? Its bethesda, you have to fix these games.

You wouldn't have needed to click anything. It was a popup on the xbox version, because in that version they don't attack until you're level 8. Maybe the message appears on the pc version, if you install Tribunal midgame, so that you know its loaded.
