With some of the sexiest character designs you'll ever see in a Jap game:

I recommend playing it with the English VO. The English cast does an incredible job with so much heart going into line delivery. It's strange at the very beginning of the game though because the lip-sync is really bad, but it fixes itself after the prologue mission. Maybe they've fixed that part in the Switch 2 version.

And you don't have to play the first one before playing this one. It's a separate story and universe with only one subtle reference to the first game at the very end.

Sadly the maincharacter you play as is **** and the arcade game to unlock the last evolution of poppi was designed for autistic completionists. But also the only game I played in the series. But best character design I have seen in this series. Will probably replay it one day. Worth a purchase if you own a switch1.

Japs are a perfect slave-race. They're pig-ignorant and only worship money and have no problems censoring their art to placate the West, all so they can sell a few units more. They care nothing about ideals or values, their only worldview is avoiding "conflict" which is why they kowtow to every DEI demand and always will. It's also why they lost to KPOP as well. DEI department will say jump and every single jap artist will ask 'how high, please do not cut off my income'. They are worse than ****, at least **** care about something.
I heard that the Japanese piled on Russians on Twitter for pirating anime, games, manga, etc. A crazy level of slave mentality. Though, maybe it's just a loud minority in Japan. I'd like to hope for the best.

almost every jap game ends up being about nihilism, reincarnation really did a lot of damage to eastern storytelling
But what about Xenog-aahhh ****. Teens killing god, god not being "real", meaning of life being fake, and also reincarnation. lol.

Rex is actually my favourite protagonist in the series. I really enjoyed his story and character development from inexperienced youth to

I didn't know that Poppi's final form was locked behind a string of sidequests until I was right at the end of the game, so that sucked that I didn't get to use that form much. I thought the Tora Tora minigame wasn't too bad. You could dedicate some time to it and have Poppi be a powerhouse. Would have preferred her to just share the same progression as the other blades though.

Yeah but I would prefer to play as the adult version already then. The unexperienced anime boy who tries to be nice to everyone by fighting a villain is also one of the most generic anime tropes I have seen hundred of times. Also a reason why dragon ball GT isnt liked but DBZ is, no fun in seeing small Goku action and get depowered.
