God ******* ******. I knew it was coming but every time a franchise I like is ruined it disappoints me a little more. Basically what @TKVNC said. They just can't help themselves. CDPR continues to go downhill. They'll be an indie studio before long again.

This game, much like Neil Cuckmann's new fetish sim, is a product of a bygone era. Like Neil's game, this game was greenlit and in development since 2020. A time where the Left thought that they had won. That they finally achieved the great victory over the Right and that this was going to be a golden age of DEI and social justice. Games like this will be look at as an oddity. A relic of a past where the West gave the keys of power to the most mentally deranged, abnormal, and culturally suicidal people they could find. It will serve as a lesson to future generations on why the mentally ill should never have a molecule of power if one wishes to have a successful society.

Shouldnt the game's name be now "The Witch"? Or "The Witchess"? I mean it feels like this word took a full circle at this point.
Optionally "The Woker 4"

I agree.

The very idea that something like this game, Veilguard, Concord, Unknown 9, Dustborn, and the like would ever be successful could only have been considered if the developers at the time were under the impression that their side was guaranteed to "win" and thus everything woke would have going to be celebrated and mass consumed by the normie audience regardless of its quality.

Take a one of a kind magical girl with a Kwisatz Haderach level pedigree that can travel through time and space. Chemically render her infertile just so you can make her drink poison when she already can teleport behind you psssh...nothin personnel...kid... Turn her beautiful blue-green eyes into generic by now "spooky" cat eyes. Lame and gay.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she is actually fertile despite undergoing the process and/or becomes fertile as part of the game's story. Those genes can't be wasted for future plotlines and she does have that single mother, bloated look.

I think it needs to be said that judging pre-rendered cutscenes isn't reasonable, at least when it comes to quality of faces. Pre-rendered Geralt from the Witcher 3 trailers didn't look like his in-game model.
An even better example than Geralt would be Morrigan in Dragon Age Inquisition. In the pre-rendered trailers she looked fugly as all hell. Meanwhile her in-game model is arguably the best she's ever looked, even a decade older than in Origins and with the weird oily Inquisition skin texture.

Hmm. I believe this as much as I do all the ******** fake chatter between players like here:

It's not the first nor the last time an E3 trailer has graphics prettied up out the wazoo.

The current writers could never conceive (pun not intended) of the idea of restoring the ability to bear children as something to strive for, even though that was Yennefer's whole thing in the books. Ciri, on the other hand, spent pretty much the entirety of her book journey trying to avoid getting knocked up. The writers are sure to view the Witcher infertility as super progressive and empowering, you bigot CHUD!

I might be playing devil's advocate, but even Cinematic Ciri does look less bloated in some of the latter night scenes:

Shouldn't have allowed my CHUD ideology to color CD Projekt Rainbow's possible questlines. I stand corrected.

I think the word they use is "natalism" or "pro-natalism" something like that. Supposedly that is an insult. lol

The idea of human beings ensuring that they don't go extinct is like the greatest form of evil for the self-called progressives. kek

Could you not upload huge PNGs to catbox of all places, please? RPGHQ Vault is a perfectly good file host and works like a charm.
As for the bloated look, yes, there are a couple of reasons to explain it. One explanation could be the focal length (or the fisheye lens or whatever this particular effect is called) of the virtual camera in that scene. Plus, a lot of times people in more modern vidya look weirdly bloated and squishy due to facial animation being wonky. Like the doughy faces in Mass Effect Andromeda, for example.

If Larry Fink wants to keep trying to force behaviors, we just have to keep doing what we are currently doing and ignore anything touched by ESG. Fink and those like him end up losing more than we.
