Pathfinder: Wrath of the ******** hate thread
The whole game felt grindfest beyond the usual **** with very subpar story.I shouldnt have bought the dlc's they all felt worse than the main story. Was the main writer blue haired lesbian *****?Because thats the only way i can of a reason this was given greenlight.
got back to this game today after installing dewoke mods and custom portraits (after 2022) and god, it is so boring and bloated!
the prebuffing, having to keep up with all the micromanagement microbuff crusade stuff, bloated enemy stats cause prebuffing is a thing (back in 2022 i was playing on hard and only got ivory sanctum to swarm boss fight, where guy turns into swarm)
Also, if, for example, i have situation where i can't rlly deal with swarms in this fight, i gotta go back to global map, and then pick few another companions and level them up for like an hour, paying attention to everything, so you can actually beat this particular fight
Lol, no thanks owlcat, i'd rather:
Go back to my comfy NWN fan modules where companions do all the **** by themselves and you can actually get to ROLEPLAY in them rather than simply choosing which attack animation you'll have
P.S. is it me or the graphics are super oversaturated with unecessary effects and stuff? yeah, i get that the game is going for le epic lvl 1000 battles with 20 buffs(why? lol) but i hate that ****

Werent the fireball heroes really op against swarm world map fights? Those were only really an issue at the beginning when I played. And once you have a ridiculous amount of mages or archers they are also pretty easy.aragorn1776 wrote: ↑ May 2nd, 2026, 16:09got back to this game today after installing dewoke mods and custom portraits (after 2022) and god, it is so boring and bloated!

"I don't care what they tell you in College of Winterhold, Tiber Septim was a Redguard.”
If you're not aware, there are mods that let you customize your prebuff settings and has your party sort it out automatically with a single key press.aragorn1776 wrote: ↑ May 2nd, 2026, 16:09got back to this game today after installing dewoke mods and custom portraits (after 2022) and god, it is so boring and bloated!

Yeah, i've used it in the past but found it rather tedious to set everything up and felt like cheating at the same time, like how you could buff everything in 1ms without wasting precious round/level spells while doing soOyster Sauce wrote: ↑ May 2nd, 2026, 16:20If you're not aware, there are mods that let you customize your prebuff settings and has your party sort it out automatically with a single key press.aragorn1776 wrote: ↑ May 2nd, 2026, 16:09got back to this game today after installing dewoke mods and custom portraits (after 2022) and god, it is so boring and bloated!

Also getting back to it 3 years later i can't give a **** about story anymore, and as far as i know it isn't good anyway, in 2022 i hyped myself up and thought it'll get better at some point but it feels like nothing rlly changes past the first city where you first get the myhic power (only moment i enjoyed in the game)
Also they nailed gore mechanics in this game, gibs physics, blood spilling physics
The idea that the story was made was queerfreaks is sadly very true.
However, the game itself is adapting a preexisting tabletop adventure path of the same name that was published back in 2012. And yes, this pen-and-paper module had just as much degenerate rainbow **** as the computer adaptation.
The only thing that I believe is objectively good about the CRPG is the complexity and options to make your build, but the story and subpar characters do bring it all down.
