I detest the thread title. The ****** infiltrated the boomer shooter community because their audience was all dude-bros and they wanted to destroy it.

Nah, it's because they're autistic men and Doom is easy to modify. It's like making a Sonic OC except better because there's entry level programming involved.

Another reason why doom is overrated as **** and should've been forgotten.
So, if a good restaurant has a bunch of **** that invade it, does it make the restaurant ****, or is it just that there is **** in the restaurant?

Doom is fine for its time. The problem now is that like a lot of things, these disgusting parasites pollute everything they touch and honestly, most of them do this because they know it pisses people off. They are a bunch of mentally ill attention whores.

Seen this **** happen a lot. Watched a very popular hometown coffee shop that everyone frequented eventually get sold after the owner died... the guy who bought it put on some show that he was respectable, etc... and once everyone settled back in, he started trooning out (wearing ridiculous outfits) at the shop. It killed the business, but the mentally ill ****** wasn't interested in the business as much as he was getting attention. It is what these freaks do.

Why would this be, I wonder? It's almost required in some games (like the aformentioned Stalker Analmeme (Anomaly).

Might be the "iron sight" argument that evolved in the early days when FPS began forcing all kinds of features to account for controller limitations on consoles (ie cover positions, auto aiming, etc...).

Because it's a mechanic that slows down gameplay and affects other things. For example, most games that add ADS make your accuracy worse outside of it. It's the same thing with sprint. When they add sprint, they slow down normal movement to compensate. The game becomes slower, more methodical, and less of a fast-pace experience.
