I had bought Fantasy Grounds (now classic) years ago, but I see they have a new version out. Anyone toyed with the new software?

The way the licensing worked in the old version was that if one person had the full license, then the players could play the game with free clients.

There's an app called Fight Club if you're ok with using your phone.

The one thing I liked about Fantasy Grounds was their implementation of 2D map triggers for encounters. The newer version apparently added rule capability for various environment and class ability/restrictions (ie LoS, Sound, etc...), so when players moved through, entire encounters would trigger automatically and begin various preset encounters created by the DM.

It is a nice feature for assisting DMs and making it a bit more visually interactive for online play.
