This is such a genuinely ******** move on EA's part that part of me still kinda refuses to believe it and that they're basically blustering when they praise Andromeda's sales especially in material dated from around it's release as game devs always do but it is true EA is well known for their ******** decisions.

I don't think anyone has ever revealed why bioware has(had?) so much pull with EA over the years, any other studio would have been taken out back and shot long ago

I assume it's because Bioware is considered a prestige developer that had a lot of marketing potential just on their name and pedigree alone.

I have no reason to not believe this is how it went down.
Bioware(main studio) got away with poaching devs from SWTOR for years without EA putting a stop to it until recently. SWTOR has been very, very profitable. It has also had massive content droughts due to not having enough developers.

Andromeda has an Asari VI give a lecture on pronouns and there's a ***** in one of the settlements that declares that he's a ***** in the first dialogue you have with him.

Nope. You only get the ***** if you go with the scientists. If you say that the military should get there first, the ***** doesn't even have dialogue. But I guess you wanted the "Oh my Soyence" guys to be there first huh?

I like Wrex so I make sure his species survives by using the genophage.
Mordin tells you outright that if you 'cure' the genophage they will almost certainly be genocided when the next war happens. It will be long, bloody, and the Krogan will lose, and they will be exterminated.

TBH if ME3 ended with reapers going away entirely and no stupid choices, it would almost certainly become some sort of Turian-Human empire. Especially after how they got backstabbed and were the only two races to do anything.

First game explains why the genophage is necessary and not even evil — it just reduces their birthrates to what they'd be naturally. No, the species is not dying out, they're just breeding at rates similar to other races.
Then it gets turned on its head in later games by ******* who didn't understand it.

They're just Mandalorians from KOTOR but turtles they probably have ships that suck **** at anything but ramming into other ships/planets where 6quintillion of them that survive the crash pour out like locusts.

First game also has a side quest where you can take the side of an anti-vaxxer and it's presented as a reasonable choice. It's incredible how far and how fast the series fell...

They should have done that instead of 'go to a new galaxy' for the 'Exploration' Spin-Off.

To be fair it was supposed to be a new big trilogy with it's own huge multimedia push and not just a spin off until it was such an abhorrent piece of dried white dog **** that they scrapped basically EVERYTHING.

Also, Leviathan should have been a Rogue Reaper that hunted its own kind. Like a Cosmic Horror Serial Killer.
