Downloaded Early Access Hotfix #2, Interestingly, Quelenna, the very first NPC carrying a lesbian letter, does NOT carry that letter! She's in the game but she's NOT a lesbian. So this would align with the theory that lots of lgbt was added later on during the process of panderization. This could have been such a decent game on it own without mods if only they had stayed true to their initial vision and direction :rip:
Very interesting information. So, Sven didn't lie when he said in one of his latest interview that in EA stage Larian had a lot of freedom, but then WoTC came and brought some alphabetic additions
Another case of tokenism. As none of the Alphabets added anything. Even Philomeen who occurs in multiple acts is just another bossgirl. I wouldn't completely absolve Larian of guilt here though.

Larian isn't blameless, swen could have put his foot down at any moment. He became an old cuckold.

You could access Grymforge in the very first EA build, btw. I posted about this prior:
Correction, I don't know if it was in the very first EA build(probably was).
https://www.gogdb.org/product/1456460669#builds
4.1.83.6620 was released on Oct 9th, EA released on Oct 6th. So the first EA build is seemingly 4.1.83.2651.

Yes the patch i mentioned was 8th oct 2020, 2 days after release. They had not made changes to Localization file so it would be the same as first release.

Are these earlier versions still available somewhere? I have patch 5 still, downloaded about 20th of Dec 23... but think an earlier version - probably much earlier - is what I would like to try.

Thanks, though it doesn't help me since I purchased the GOG version. 😊 Maybe GOG Galaxy has similar functionality; perhaps I will test that later. I am generally installing games manually, and not through services like Steam and Galaxy.

Downloaded Early Access Hotfix #2, Interestingly, Quelenna, the very first NPC carrying a lesbian letter, does NOT carry that letter! She's in the game but she's NOT a lesbian. Barcus Wroot was there, the Nere fight and conversation was there! So a version of Grymforge was there, except... lol the ****** gnomes Laridda, Philomeen, Lunkbug and Beldron don't exist.
That does not surprise me.

Now this is pure speculation on my part, but I have to wonder of being forced to include Alphabet propaganda was what caused the rift between Hasbro and Larian.
Perhaps this is the reason Larian is not going to make BG4.

I guess we will see when Larian's next project comes out.

I've only played Divinity 2 Ego Draconis. That had 0 LGBTQ. Released in 2009 tho. And Anita the Scammer hadn't begun her gamersgate sympathy scam yet.

So here's something interesting. There was no woke in the localization from 6th Oct 2020 to the patch released on 5th Aug 2021.
Then on the Grymforge update on 14/10/2021, you got all the gay gnomes and Quelenna's letter.

And seeing how St Petersburg studio only moved after Russian Invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Larian had already bent the knee before that.

You're all ignoring the St. Petersburg studio layoffs that happened before the war. There is only one mention of it on russian game resources, and judging by the fact that you are silent about it, it was not mentioned in your part of the Internet.

@rusty_shackleford, larian trooned out before war.

Divinity OG 1 does not have it at first, but they seem to add it in later versions. Divinity OG 2 is full of them.
I doubt any Larian's future games will be rainbow free.

Divinity II: Ego Dragonis is a completely different game vs Original Sin. It's much older.

I'm gonna leave in Hoots and Nine Fingers so they don't conflict with a future De-girlboss mod. Alfira and Lakrissa continues to stay in the closet, so they haven't harmed my lore sensibilities enough to erase them. However, I can't promise I won't gender change Lakrissa in the de-girlboss mod. Raphael will remain unchanged.

Thank you, good Samaritan for removing this scourge upon our planet! I mean, men kissing?? What?? TRAINS woman???? Huh??? Won't somebody think of the children????? This game is such a step down from the ET game on the Atari, which is my all-time favorite game. Larian needs to stope woekness!!! I mean, look where all of this inclusivity got them! 33 game awards for BG3!! Let's stop pandering to the woek mob and begin pandering to the people that really need it: White Cisgender Heterosexual Men. The reign of transgenderism is OVER!!! The oppressed minority of white men needs to rise up!!!                     :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Thanks for your effort. There is also a ****** NPC (woman with muscular(?) body) at the ending cut screen (after & before Nether Brain attack). It has no dialog. What is the red and blue flag btw? Bisexual? If so, all companions fit this category, except Jaheija and Mincs.

They have no NPC history/backstory of being gay. So they don't count. No Alphabets is about world NPC and their interactions. Not Player-to-Companion interaction. That's Better Romance's territory.

I can't remember

All that matters is, they were ******* and now they're not. Some are meant to be bisexual I think, others are what I assume is "fucks everything"

Another case of tokenism. As none of the Alphabets added anything. Even Philomeen who occurs in multiple acts is just another bossgirl. I wouldn't completely absolve Larian of guilt here though.
Mol is also a bossgirl. Phew, most of those tiefling brats are quite insufferable to interact with.

They have no NPC history/backstory of being gay. So they don't count. No Alphabets is about world NPC and their interactions. Not Player-to-Companion interaction. That's Better Romance's territory.
Okay. What with the red yellow blue flag? Bestiality? I don't know everything about those collective of freaks and their symbols.
I can't remember

All that matters is, they were ******* and now they're not. Some are meant to be bisexual I think, others are what I assume is "fucks everything"
