The only thing I can think of is that they must have made up a load of ******** and/or threats, as deranged ******** do. (Amusing the one above is actually emulating women by trying to make it all about itself, heh. "My heart was pounding, I had to cuddle my shark plushie", wtf).
Otherwise, I'd be bigmad if my employer decided to drop me over just offering to donate to charity for someone to play a videogame.

Also it shows how many employers are still absolutely petrified of ********. Even for ones with "must not bring organization into disrepute" clauses, you'd think they'd investigate, say "oh it's nothing" and drop the thing.
This shows it's not worth engaging with deranged redditors, even in good faith. Hardly nazi of the month is he, lol. And if the (other) ******'s post above is correct, it shows that Arrowhead WAS engaging (maybe not directly with the "charity" offer, but at least the premise) and actually making progress with balance tweaks by actually PLAYING the **** game. Interesting.
