Dragon Age has more women playing it than usual for most video games. This is due to all the classical/tragic romance bait (Alistair, Zevran, Anders, Fenris, Cullen, Blackwall, Solas).
So, the faggotroon writer making sure that "Nobody likes being a woman" line, that Codex entry of Traash saying how uncomfortable she is around normal pretty women, and Isabela saying how a non-binary ***** looks better than her in a dress - all of that is most definitely an attack on femininity, subconscious or not.
Pretty much all women are disgusted by ******. Their seeming acceptance is them going with the pushed media narrative, as is the normal behaviour for women. Tell a progressive woman how well she passes and ask her how long ago she decided to transition to being a woman and that'll wound her to the core of her being.

But, yes, Dragon Age has been slowly but purposefully reshaped to cater to the female audience. At least until the ***** takeover happened.

I fully admit I enjoy that aspect of Half Life 2 at the time, since no other game did the whole characters talking to each other ingame and not by a cutscene in early 2000’s
