It is a requirement when working for Obsidian!
Observe instead of relying on others to instruct your views of the world. If one proclaims loyalty to socialist freedoms, then one accepts its core tenants of grooming kids, among other evils. And homosexuals are sexual deviants, every statistic supports this, and no amount of humanist comforting thoughts you use to hide from that is going to change their nature. Pat Buchanon put it aptly in his own writings.jdcp wrote: ↑ December 8th, 2025, 23:38Where does this come from? I never heard of Tim Cain agreeing with this.ThulsaDoomer wrote: ↑ December 7th, 2025, 05:37who fully endorses grooming kids and other such evils
Need source please.
"Homosexuality is not redemptive; it is addictive. By the very way in which they define themselves, the homosexuals are killing themselves, physically, morally, and spiritually. So say Augustine, Aquinas, and the Atlanta Center for Disease Control, as well as the Torah, the new Testament, and the Koran. Who says otherwise?"
"Deny that His laws are binding, rage against them, you still cannot escape the consequences of living outside the laws of nature and of nature's God."
You can delude yourself on what Tim Cain isn't when we have video proof of what he is, and that is what I based my assessment off of.
This sounds needlessly complex. Just copy/paste the code as many times as you need it to run.King Crispy wrote: ↑ December 23rd, 2025, 10:2009:00am -- Implement a for loop somewhere in the code.

no, seriously, what the **** are you talking about?
Statistics this, people this, the torah this, who the **** cares? Have we seen the man do any of this? If not, then it is false. You're making me defend a *** for **** sake.
Brother The Lord, almighty as he is may he forgive his mention here, didn't give you birth just to judge others just by some numbers, you're better than that.
Sure the guy's a *** I ain't denying that, but who the **** cares? There's literally a ton of more reasons to **** on him (very justifiable and that I would agree) than just say "haha he's a ****** so he is a child offender" or some ****, literally who the **** wants to read that.

This is some grade-A libtard slop here. "Noooooo you can't notice patterns! What, you're applying them to someone I like?! That makes you a bigot CHUD!"jdcp wrote: ↑ December 24th, 2025, 14:16ThulsaDoomer wrote: ↑ December 23rd, 2025, 12:33Observe instead of relying on others to instruct your views of the world.

I wouldn't call it Prime or even Choice but it's surely a cut above most.
There's a difference between recognizing a pattern, that I just adressed does exist and that it isn't what I'm denying, and directly asserting what someone is just because of a pattern.Kalarion wrote: ↑ December 24th, 2025, 14:36"Noooooo you can't notice patterns! Whatever, this is a boring topic, and all of your opinions are the same "bro look the numbers *** equals pedo" Don't even know why this was brought up again.
There's a fine line between being stupid and braindead, and I didn't expect this level of retardness from you @Kalarion and I'm not talking about you opposing me, like it's okay with that but I mean:
Liberals? Who mentioned this ********? And what's with that quote? Who said this piece of ****?
Again, I don't understand half of the **** you're talking to me about, what in the God's name are you talking to me about?
specially after this ************ tells me "observe instead of relying on others" ***** you just told me about like a million people who said something and then I should believe that.
******* imbecile. @ThulsaDoomer

Actually, He did. I asked specifically. He gave mankind reason so that men could notice patterns and act according to the most likely outcome without having to try every individual poisonous plant or cuddle every individual snake to see if this one might be different.jdcp wrote: ↑ December 24th, 2025, 14:16Brother The Lord, almighty as he is may he forgive his mention here, didn't give you birth just to judge others just by some numbers, you're better than that.

Intentional ignorance does not equate to enlightenment, you can feign understanding as it suits you but so far you have done nothing to refute my points or those of Pat Buchanon, in fact if you do claim to agree with these assertions, why the childish freak out? I was civil with you, at least have the decency to offer the same instead of this ghetto attitude you possess.
The point I was making, and in turn Buchanon, is that this observation of behaviour has been evident for thousands of years. This is not a pattern, it is established truth. Sure, a few may deviate from that, I won't deny it, but those men tend not to wave the rainbow flag and its ideals as they are not proud of what those stand for. I'm not buying your gaslight about this being "boring" or not worth your time, you clearly are opinionated and willingly to go to bat for a homosexual you do not even know. Why? Genuinely. Of all the people you choose to defend here, it has to be the poster boy for sexual liberation in gaming? I find that curious.

Remember when they stopped reporting monkeypox cases because it turned out a large number of children and dogs were contracting it?

Cain says the richest and most powerful people in Arcanum are gnomes. He says they were doing horrific experiments on kites, and he brings this up while discussing miscegenation. I do hate those screamy little bastards, but what could be more horrifying than breeding half-ogres?
Do you mean Lynette and the herbs lady who narrates the intro?maidenhaver wrote: ↑ January 14th, 2026, 01:19Tim Cain's probably responsible for all the girlpower in F2. In that sense, the show is getting back it's roots.

The woman who runs Klamath. The girl hostage at Vault 15 subverting the Tandi situtation, because Tim loves subversion. President Tandi, just because she met the Vault Dweller. You can tell Vic's daughter to fix her attitude, which is gay and snarky, she's a bossy *****. Dorothy running NCR's power station. Its basically all women doing everything to uphold civilization, while men are playing raiders, needing help, being bad, or doing drugs.Irenaeus wrote: ↑ January 14th, 2026, 02:22Do you mean Lynette and the herbs lady who narrates the intro?maidenhaver wrote: ↑ January 14th, 2026, 01:19Tim Cain's probably responsible for all the girlpower in F2. The next time some random ********** says what are you talking about without an argument, I'm not even responding. Go **** yourself.

Tim Cain confirmed that his games have deliberate subtext messages so in Fallout when you visit the peaceful village run by ***** and then go down south to see European-Americans living in filth, squalor, and degeneracy, that was absolutely a message being sent.
There's something about Tim's content that bothers me. I can't put my finger on it. He just comes across as a guy who is trying to grift for YouTube bux now (seems to be working too). Though I've seen some individuals say there's genuine gamedev gems to be mined from his videos.
I dislike how he tells "stories" though. Very long-winded and ponderous.

I get why he likes to distance himself from F2. It really is a meme game.

Tim Cain politely tells developers that their games suck because they don't play RPGs

Trails in the Sky did escort quests right. The NPC is added into the party as a guest, and follows your character around right on your tail just like with the rest of your party. When you enter turn based combat, the escort NPC will then try to run away from the danger, and you can taunt the mobs, bodyblock the pathing of the mobs, cast protective spells and heals on the NPC, etc. Sometimes, the guest NPC could help you, like Dorothy (the news reporter girl) taking a picture and the flash blinding enemies. It shook up the gameplay having to consider other things besides just killing the mobs. I distinctly remember the bus attack in the first Crossbell game being really tense with the yetis attacking the bus and getting really anxious about it and rushing to the people's aid. WRPG styled escort quests where the NPC walks at their own pace and on their own set route are often annoying, though.

His latest video seems to imply someone he did a chat with for a video was telling lies
Unless it's a deleted video, it's not exactly a long list:

My guess is it's probably not Leonard Boyarsky, so…
[edit]
And if you're wondering why I watch his videos, yes, they're (mostly) quite insightful. I skip about maybe a quarter of them, typically ones like this.
