Not surprised. I'm glad that I dropped Pathfinder once the 2nd edition came out.

The funny thing about wheelchairs in pathfinder 2e is that they're strictly better than just walking because people can pick you up from prone with an action instead of you having to use an action yourself

It took me a minute to figure out you were talking about Pathfinder 1e, not D&D 1e.

I'm not a Pathfinder expert, but I'm not seeing any Knowledge skills on the Kineticist. As for the class and archetype,

The Kineticist is a class with quite complex mechanics. But tiers aren’t about how complex a class’s mechanics are, they’re about how versatile and powerful the class is, and it’s not good news on either front. But good points first – you’re going to have great Fortitude saves. You'll have high HP... sometimes. <WhiteShark note: you won't; Dark Elementalist is Int-based.> You'll have some class options, both in and outside of combat. And there are some powerful abilities in the class if you dig around enough.

Now, for the bad. Problem enemies include enemies with elemental resistances or immunities or spell resistance, and any of these can really reduce your damage output. It’s hard to boost your damage output. You're not affected by common party-wide buffs, like Haste, Prayer, or Bard Song. There aren't really any magic items specifically tailored for the class. Selecting powerful abilities available to a Kineticist often requires selecting underwhelming powers several levels beforehand. Burn, the limiting mechanic of Kineticist, can be difficult to manage, can’t be cured outside of rest, and runs out quickly. You’ll think you’ll have high HP, since you have a CON focus, but burn is going to quickly make that dwindle to very low levels.

Overall, it’s a lot of effort to optimize for what’s generally a weak class, earning a spot in Tier 5.

Int based instead of Con based, just one good save, and for burn past 3 points and for elemental overflow you have to kill a sentient (probably actually sapient) being of at least your CR. The last clause makes it a real problem for PCs who don't have a stable of prisoners to kill, but it probably works for NPCs.

Yeah, other than wanting a bit of Dex for AC and making ranged touch attacks, a normal Kineticist can go all in on Con. Dark Elementalist switches Con for Int, though, so it's a weaker combat archetype, I think.

Can't find this in most popular russian torrent site. Sadly, it seems like slavs are only playing D&D (5th edition), Warhammer, and World of Darkness.
