Wow, that changes her character completely. I played the 3DS version and remember her being a bossy boots, but still ladylike and refined like you say.

It's partly the men's fault for allowing all of this to happen by accepting it. It's an ongoing war on men and masculinity (but also women and femininity). When you pay for a movie or a video game, more often than not you're in essence paying for your own demise. And to be fair, there are women who are also waking up to this and don't like it either.

Yes the localizers made it worse but it is still something that never happens in the game and woke from the source because it's changing the core of her character completely.

It's likely that all the political propaganda style writing was a result of Dragonbaby as well, as the website says they worked on Dragon Quest VII's translation. Though the website doesn't explicitly say it's the Reimagined version they worked on, I'm assuming it is because the PlayStation and Nintendo 3DS ports was explained to not have that style of writing or character in this thread.

In the 3DS version? well probably most sexual references, the crosses where changed, in some aspects the attire of some women were slightly censored, I expect that some violent scenes where also changed there were some sword stabbings that are probably not there in the 3DS version, I don't really remember.

I played this without having played the original and I thought it was ok. Way too easy though. Some of the writing was a little dumb too.
