I make notes on all my accounts in my password manager which filters sites with forced 2fa or reCapture slaveslop to the bottom, so I can easily avoid wasting my time with them.

Someone needs to make an extension which marks websites as forced 2fa and if they spam reCapture slaveslop. I wouldn't mind looking into this myself tbh, I've never made an extension before, but idk how big of a task it would be (maybe there's a way to detect these automatically instead of community based reporting?)

Isn't a password store just a way to lose all of your passwords at once?

Like keeping your passport and birth certificate in your wallet.
No, it's like keeping your passport and birth certificate in the same locked safe in your house. If you lose it you did something wrong somewhere.

Is 2FA really a meme? Was about to enable it on my account but just found this
It will never secure your account, and it actually expands the attack vector on your account in ways you'd never realise by yourself. In the video I linked above the guy explains how bigger companies force 2fa for financial gain via privacy invasion resulting in an increased chance you'd become a target than without it. They don't care about your account being secure. It's all a scam with excessive marketing efforts because they are desperate for your data you otherwise wouldn't be giving them.

Yeah that's how I've always thought about it. Never wanted to use a password app.

I don't even really know what "identity theft" means anymore. I'm just a lazy homo, is all.
