The mod is a bit buggy, when I used it, it didn't always show the arrows unless I was near them which kinda sucked but I figured I won't ude it anymore because it tanked my performance.

yup, found it. it's "Object Detail Quality" setting that affects arrows render range (strangely, "Render Distance" setting ain't doing anything for the arrows), other setting doesn't seem to affect them.
at low, arrows start showing only at 35~ meters, on high they start showing at 125~ meters (still not ideal, but you can still scope).
too lazy to check how "lod_selection_multiplier" value will affect arrows now, maybe'll check later (it is on 10.5, and arrows shows on 125~ meters).

I've been using this mod for a month now to efficiently grab SC, and it's excellent.

Even with my 2070 super, I can go to

lod_selection_multiplier = 15

without difficulty.
If you have a better card, 20 is achievable.

In a way it kind of breathes new life into the game by giving you extra objectives to go for, since SC are always valuable for everyone. There's no ******* chance I'm bothering with a point of interest that might have requisition or medals.

Are you launching it from the mod manager? i was doing that and having the same issue, then i launched it through steam and i could see them from far away.

Just a joke. It's just a texture/mesh replacer in the game files. It's not possible for it to do that.

The bitcoin miner permanently installs itself to your motherboard bootloader, so you have to replace the computer to get rid of it. But you shouldn't, because I'm about to buy a cool yacht with my cut of the bitcoin.

They changed a lot of the file system and messed with the renderer.
In doing so, they broke all graphics mods (probably deliberately) and also made anti aliasing much worse than before.

delete your game folder & reinstall, probably have leftover files, steam doesn't fix this automatically

Okay, so you have to do three things:

• purge the mods and mod manager.
• turn off "read only" for user_settings.config
• verify files.

Restart game until it works. I had to start it twice for it to fix itself somehow.

That's what I did and got in.

Just registered to say "based", and thank you for the mod, I enjoyed it for the last couple of months. Unfortunately, today's patch broke it, but I do hope it will be usable again in the future.

Personally if I need SC I'll just join a pub group and farm it but I have also gotten quite a bit more while playing with this on.
