Can someone explain me in any detail why text AIs are not considered intelligent? It's a really cool trick this thing they do.

The west is in a pit of cultural stagnation. The culture war is real and its everywhere, the conservative side cant create new things, the communist side can only create pre approved slop. Whatever falls in the middle has been ignored for far too long.

These days I find it best to just look to the east, stuff thats coming from Korea and China is pretty great.

Troubleshooter, The book of dragons, Tale of immortal, Heroes Adventure, The matchless kung fu.
Maybe create a thread that's like a shrine to these products. I'm curious. However, conservatives can and will create new things, I assure you. By Saint Tolkien we will. All creators are conservatives, they're mostly just really bad at politics. Few can foresee their world is to become **** within three generations. That is, few are wise. People will be openly ******* dogs within 10 years. Go tell a progressive, see what he votes.

The last 60 or so years proves this is mostly false. Look at what "conservatives" create these days. Poorly made derivatives trying to play catch up with what the left makes.

This is a completely nonsensical phrase that contradicts itself. Most people who create, especially now, are liberal.

We must live in different planets. What's Rings of Power, if not some ******** NWO slop appealing to progressive milfs and homosexuals? Korra vs. Aang? SWtoR vs KotOR? Anything vs OoT? Sequels, Prequels vs OGs? MtG, D&D, Diablo, these days vs back then? You name it. Their original teams were probably all progressive 30 years ago, yet honestly I can't imagine one of them looking at what their IPs have come to and feeling accomplished. It's all like that meme where you guys fought on the wrong side of WWIII, except you're seeing the consequences in the realm of culture.

Want to go way back? As in, old movies vs new? Come on. LOTR vs the books? Hahah. Tolkien vs Beowulf? Come again?

I'll be honest, I haven't played BG 1 or 2, but I'm already incandescent at the notion that BG3 is better than them. I'll repeat, I've only a superficial idea of how the last one plays, but merely the tone already tells me it's not even in the same league.

Almost every example you gave besides Tolkien are things created by liberals some of which were super left leaning.

Which would be why I said, all creators are conservatives, they're just bad at politics, and fail to glimpse what's going to become of their works and their world. They all believe they're so edgy at first, then the next generation comes and vulgarizes their world and their work. It takes a good family environment and the right conditions to produce an Ezra Pound or CΓ©line.

It all degenerates, that's the big idea. Either you double down like the Wachowski brothers, you go swim in money like George Lucas, or you get ******. But culture is not getting any less crass and vulgar. You yourself will become a conservative once people start openly prostituting their children in a not so distant future.

That'd be an idea. Another different idea would probably be to mention I might've just seen your posting in a thread asking for attractive men, after which and considering the implications, brother, you're only getting my condolences, and politely ignored, ad eternum.

Alright guys, listen. This is actually for the older guys around here.

I've come here in order to share my thoughts on this medium with you, and honestly I've been open to backlash and trolling. 4chan for example, is one prime example of a ************ learning curve to navigate. IMO. My intention as I said, was to add value to the site.

Now, what I don't want to do is to waste my time. I love the medium, I like to discuss it, but frankly, I'm sad to see that there're several people here on which all of this is wasted. I'm getting somewhat old for certain specific flavors of ********, and the ''I'm going to troll you by disregarding and quoting sounding like I'm a ******''... IDK who's sitting behind that keyboard, but honestly even if they're just trolling, I've been persuaded at this point that they're not worth my time, brother. By a mere style of trolling, nonetheless. Anyway.

I'm going to pack my things and leave, it sucks to a certain extent because I like the exchanges with a few of you. I could go ahead and ignore all of these guys, but that'd probably just stimulate them. So! I guess this has been it! Excited to find somewhere where I can discuss the philosophy behind it all.

Take good care

This is not often the case. Generally speaking conservatives stick to what works, they iterate on it, because thats their own frame of mind.
Liberals on the other hand are the ones with new ideas.

I am, for the most part, a liberal, but my brand of liberalism does not match even remotely the values of the left. So I side with conservatives.

@Odrackyir, I've honestly found your thoughts very interesting, but I haven't had the energy to give this thread the sort of post it deserves. I'm sorry you didn't get much in the way of serious responses. I was very disappointed to see how it developed.

Yes, I think I agree with this. To create in a serious way, one must care about reality, because that's what creation is about: the making of a fictional reality. Caring about reality is a conservative thing. Leftists are all style and no substance. They don't care if their ideas clash and contradict each other. As long as it superficially appears to fulfill their idealistic desire, they're pleased. I think that's why creativity in media has died as leftism has come into full bloom.
