I threw this together with GIMP in a few minutes as a joke. What do you guys think?

First heavy armor I got already looks sick. Wonder how cool the others will be.

I'd prefer to continue with logos for the prominent organization you play as for consistency between games of the same series. (The reason I did Malak's face for KOTOR was because I assumed KOTOR 2 would eventually get picked and the mask from the box art is the obvious choice for that.)logincrash wrote: ↑ January 10th, 2026, 13:46Not sure how recognizable it would be, though.Finarfin wrote: ↑ January 10th, 2026, 13:31You either do the Cerberus Symbol or you do the four eyes of the Collectors as a badge then.

Another option that I saw somewhere that we might not have the resolution for would be to splash the '2' or '3' on the red portion of the N7 logo.

You suggested putting them in the corner, like the are on the game logo, so here's a basic edit.

First choice that gave me pause so far. First Citadel visit
A soldier's body is kept by the Alliance for testing, while the husband wants his wife's body back and is not even told why he is being denied this request.
Sure the potential scientific discoveries could be beneficial to the Alliance, but rumors would spread. And knowing the military just up and vanishes its deceased for whatever purpose they see fit, what would that do to morale? That too plays a part in military readiness.
Ultimately retrieved the remains from the Alliance for the reasons stated above.
What did you guys think of the situation?

I think it was wrong to withhold it without telling the husband why (a female indian soldier being the focus here, with her stay-behind husband is peak libtardism and cringe in hindsight, but that's not the topic). He should know why and get to have a say in what happens to the body, if the wife hadn't told that in something like a will before. You can argue that the potential uses of that research would be neglible and that the sanctity of the body weighs higher, especially taking into consideration that the game states results would take a long time afaik. So either withholding or releasing with paragon or renegade options is both fitting depending what you opinion on this is.
Personally I think research would be the pragmatic thing to do, releasing the body the moral. Depends on who the person is I think, with no real 100% correct anser. If it was my dad? Release. If it's someone elses? It's sad but keep it for research.
As I play basically always renegade/based, I try to convince the husband the let the military keep it.

Once you die, you belong to God. Yes, I know it's a game. But that's the outcome regardless.

There was a ******* "Your wife knew why" dialogue choice that had me thinking she had signed an agreement to release her body to the military or something, but Shepard instead just says it was her mission to save lives and she can do so while dead and I ******* HATE THE DIALOGUE WHEELReichspepe wrote: ↑ January 10th, 2026, 19:04I think it was wrong to withhold it without telling the husband why (a female indian soldier being the focus here, with her stay-behind husband is peak libtardism and cringe in hindsight, but that's not the topic). And I'm really not too fond of the normalization of women in the military either, as @Oyster Sauce said, but I can sugarcoat it with "The Krogan can rise up wipe us out at any minute". An excuse it may be, as clearly the liberal nonsense is stronger in this game than I remember it.

I think women soldiers are less eyeroll-inducing in sci-fi settings, considering there's high-tech weaponry and **** like exoskeletons that would mostly negate natural physical disadvantages women have. I don't think it's clearly stated what kind of soldier she was either, e.g. the annoying frontlines infantry ******** like Ashley Williams is or the more acceptable long range sniper/biotic/hacker kind.Valter wrote: ↑ January 10th, 2026, 19:43And I'm really not too fond of the normalization of women in the military either, as @Oyster Sauce said, but I can sugarcoat it with "The Krogan can rise up wipe us out at any minute". As for the question of the body, I think she'd be more useful to humanity as research material than she would have ever been alive, since she's most likely a pajeeta.

Be honest. The reason it's more acceptable in a sci-fi setting is because they will have the tech to repopulate via cloning or artificial wombs.logincrash wrote: ↑ January 10th, 2026, 21:21I think women soldiers are less eyeroll-inducing in sci-fi settings, considering there's high-tech weaponry and **** like exoskeletons that would mostly negate natural physical disadvantages women have. Sci-fi allows for gynoids, which are much more plausible than female soldiers. How come more settings don't take advantage of that? I can only think of Girls Frontline off the top of my head.

Don't know that the "be honest" part is about because this thought never occurred to me. But existence of such tech would cancel out the "we need every able body to fill our ranks" excuse if you can just clone an army of gigachad Spartans. You wouldn't want physically inferiour units of mentally unfit for war women in your armies at all. And women don't actually want to be in the military. The women in the modern US military only ever enlist to get ****** by scores of men in the barracks and then get veteran benefits (monetary and social headpats).J1M wrote: ↑ January 10th, 2026, 23:11Be honest. NIKKE and Nier Automata do it too. Much more plausible than real women yes, but if you're designing an efficient fighting machine, why give it boobs?
