This was published by Bethesda ~8h ago. I admit I haven't seen any of them, I just pasted them asap. I assume they're informative. I will be watching them, as well, at one point or another.

Bethesda has published some of the game's guns, for the more combat-oriented.

You know how you can tell it's a libtard that designed the weapons? Because the weapon itself wouldn't be able to function in real life. The magazines are all in the wrong place for where the firing chambers are. That shotgun doesn't even have a magazine and it's supposed to hold multiple shells.

The axe has got a can opener under the blade that wouldn't be functional at all due to how the handle is designed. The blade itself is useless as well because the can opener doesn't let you fully put it into something.

I remember a time when developers took the time to visit a gun store or manufacturer with a range to understand how firearms/melee weapons actually worked.

The more that I learn of Trannyfield the more I'm going to declare it to be garbage and avoid at all costs.

I don't know if they're supposed to work like real weapons.

Maybe it's one of those things where it's like a subliminal message from the creators saying "this is a made-up world, bro - just disengage, and have fun".

I don't know. It's 2023. There's a 50% chance you're right and they *are* ********.

They are ******** since Bethesda Studios are in Maryland one of the most anti-gun states in the US.

When creating a world you have to be logical about it. I'm sorry but these weapons wouldn't work in any fictional universe due to their design. I'm letting you off easy on this since I bet you don't know how firearms work.
That's the first time I've ever seen shotgun shells using bullet tips. Not even solid shot looks like a .50 bullet.

Shotgun ammo of all types

When you have anti-gun ******* making firearms this is what you get.

Oh I just noticed that their shotgun shells still have the bullet tips attached to the shell when it's ejecting. That means nothing was actually fired down the barrel. What a bunch of ******* ******** participation trophy morons.

Round shell casing, square hole. The real tragedy here is that the adult who designed the weapon also failed the basic block test they give children.

Child safety laws were a mistake and humanity has suffered due to the increased amount of ******* that would have been weeded out due to natural selection.

The father would have likely self-deleted by age 6 if the government didn't make them put safety caps on drain-o containers.

See this is why I love unarmed combat. I can't be disappointed. I already know 99% of the titles out there don't care, and it's going to be crap, so I'm immune to "over-engineering".

The few titles that have ever done something cool with it, are just a nice surprise. :)

I'm booking an appointment with my cardiologist a month in advance, just so I'm unfit to sail and I can play Starfield for two months straight. Perhaps I will develop heart disease on my couch and then I can take the year off.

Game looks pretty insipid. The giant open areas are mostly barren and empty looking, like some quixel asset showcase. And gameplay was never Bethesda's strongest point. If the worlds can't carry the game, neither the gunplay nor the 'rpg-ness' will.

"Eternity's Gate" and "Brawler's Equinox" are lazers. The "Coachman" 2 shell one is a breechloader. The "Experiment A7" 6 shell one looks like it could either be tube fed or drum fed- it has a lot of extra pieces with unclear function. "Drum Beat" is the only traditional rifle and it appears to feed directly up from the drum, through the magwell and into the barrel. There isn't any space for a bolt behind the bullets when they feed up, but it doesn't necessarily need one, eg maybe it's caseless and electrically fired. The only real problem with the guns is the normal sci fi gun sin, there's too much extra **** strapped onto them and they're too bulky.

Really wish they kept with their sleek NASA-esque vision when designing the guns. Function over form, purely utility based.
The multitool ax is perhaps the only one leaning towards that, but still a bit overdesigned.

I don't understand the sci fi axes bending forward thing. Prometheus did that too. Is this a thing in real life? My intuition is that a handle that bends backwards would be more ergonomic than one that bends forwards.

Thanks for confirming that it was a moronic participation trophy ****** that has no clue about firearms designed them. I'm sure you had a valid point in defending a ******'s version of firearms, but with Trannyfield you can't excuse ignorance.
